We had a wonderful experience at Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ! The food was delicious, & the atmosphere was great. What really made our visit special was the outstanding service from our Winnie waitress. She was friendly, attentive, & made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She checked on us regularly, answered our questions with a smile, & made us feel very welcome. Her excellent customer service truly enhanced our dining experience. We'll definitely be back & highly recommend this restaurant!

Update 2026-07-04: Still fantastic like restaurant. The wagyu was also excellent.

Original review: Easily my most visited restaurant in Montreal, I highly recommend everyone to pass by Gyu-Kaku if you're looking for an authentic Japanese BBQ experience. They have a wide variety of menu items & also a seasonal menu that includes some nice surprises here & there.
