Restaurant idéal en groupe. Ça permet d'essayer pleins de types de viandes différentes. Le serveur explique le temps de cuisson pour chaque viande. Le whisky est très bon. Parfait pour un restaurant avec ses collègues ou amis. C'est juste dommage de proposer le tip à 18% minimum. Ça gâche l'expérience
Me & my partner went for an anniversary dinner & it was a great experience overall. We didn't know what was good as it was our first time but our server Wilson was very helpful & ordered some amazing meats for us, he was very sweet & funny. Overall atmosphere was great too just more on the loud side & very hot but it is expected for a restaurant like this. Would definitely come back again!

All of the food was incredible, the garlic noodles & the chicken karaage were particularly good. This is a good spot to go to even if you don't want barbecue. Our waitress Kate was super nice & attentive as well!! She definitely made our experience here better.
We had a decent dinner at Gyu-Kaku. The food was decent, but some meats were way too spicy. Some were way too fatty, so meat quality is not too great in some cases. Pork was inedible. Shrimp were great. Salad was OK. Rice with meat was excellent but came with onions even though I asked for no onions. Mochinwas OK. Service was pretty good. They did not have some of their menus in English, which made things a little harder.
La nourriture est bonne. Le concept d'auto-grillades est agréable. Notre serveuse était excellente, courtoise, rapide. Cependant, j'étais avec une amie que je n'avais pas vue depuis longtemps & nous avions beaucoup de choses à nous dire, mais le gérant est venu en personne nous demander de partir quand notre réservation était terminée. Je n'avais pas terminé de manger mon plat ni de boire mon thé. Comme je savais qu'il y avait une heure limite & que je ne voulais pas me retrouver à gaspiller de la viande crue, je m'étais même abstenue d'en commander davantage. Je sais que c'est rendu pratique courante de limiter les durées des réservations, mais je trouve ça quand même ordinaire comme procédé. De plus, la musique jouait un peu trop fort.
August 2023 (late review) I ordered takeout lunch meal set. The portions are generous & quality of meat is good, it's quite fair for its price. Although I had to wait about 10-15 minutes to get my takeout, I like that the food was still burning hot when I got to my office.
