Food was delicious. Portions were healthy. Service was excellent. Only negative was the fact that the air conditioning either did not work that night are there insufficient air conditioning to handle their space. Would definitely go back but on a cooler day
Went on a date night we had a later seating. We were sat next to the bar. We waited 1 hour for appetizer that that we had ordered to share, we each got three shrimp. Another hour for our main course. Watched the owner come to the bar & slam down glasses of wine, super happy he got to enjoy himself. I watched the a waiter scrape butter off the table & plate it at the bread station. Way over priced, you have to pick your sides & pay for them, which when we got them, they didn't really pair well with the meal. Very loud, bright & uncomfortable seats, it seems like it's about seeing who is there rather than the quality of food & service. Save your money, unless you just want to go to show face.

I was really looking forward to eating at Grill Nature. I'm a big fan of the chefs & the concept. When I first read about it, I thought it was exactly what the West Island needed: a simple, old-school menu done right.
Let's start with the chicken dinner. We ordered the whole chicken & when it arrived, it looked fantastic. Unfortunately, it was quite dry. The breast was very dry & the leg was tough to chew. The sauce was excellent, though, & the fries were delicious.
That brings me to the other bird: the duck confit. Again, it was dry, which was disappointing. It also lacked the richness & tenderness you'd expect from a good duck confit. Overall, it was an average dish.
We also had the steak frites. The flank steak was tasty, but there wasn't anything particularly memorable about it.
On the positive side, all four starters were delicious. The burrata, baked clams, & sashimi-style scallops were standouts. The bread was excellent as well.
Service started off strong & attentive, but our drinks took quite a while to arrive. The starters came out quickly, but there was a long wait for the mains. Had the main courses been stronger, the wait would have been easier to overlook.
Dessert finished the meal on a high note. The chocolate cake was absolutely delicious.
This isn't a complaint as much as constructive feedback. I'll definitely be back to Grill Nature because I know it's still relatively new & there is a lot of potential here. That said, dry chicken & duck are pretty fundamental issues, & I hope they're addressed because everything else suggests this restaurant could become something
Vraiment satisfaite de cette premier expérience chez Grille-nature. J'y retournerai assurément pour essayer les autres choix tentants au menu. Nous avons pris les calmars & la buratta en entrée. Les calmars sont savoureux & la mayonnaise & bomba qui les accompagnent relève à merveille leur goût. Les légumes qui accompagnent la burrata sont croquants & plein de saveur. Pour le plat principal nous avons pris le poulet entier avec les frites & la salade de choux. Le poulet était un peu sec mais les frites & la salade de chou étaient délicieuses. Belle carte de vin pour accompagner le tout! Le service est efficace, (peut-être trop) plusieurs personnes se succèdent pour poser les memes actions. Ambiance un peu bruyante mais décor très chaleureux
