The Best in the West! Amazing staff, incredible service, & most importantly out of this world FOOD! Can't get enough of GN ❤? thank you Chef David , Chef Derek & Chef Melinda for your hospitality & sincere love for it! ☺? take it from me RUN don't walk!
Love coming here. Very warm, kind staff. Laid back, but also refined. The food is always excellent. Some photos from our visits. A must in the west island, not the generic stuff we're used to out here. A+

This was our first time coming here, & it was so disappointing. We really looked forward to trying this place, but the service started off quite slow, & unfortunately the sausage was extremely nasty. Such a buzzkill experience as nothing was enjoyable.
It seemed like they were in no position or mood to receive people at 9pm anymore. We were asked if we would like to sit outside since our table wasnt ready. I thought why not (it did smell like fried fish inside afterall). Until we saw giant spiders hanging from the gazebos when we got out & spider weds above our head. We asked to move the table away from the wall which is where they were mostly concentrated & it was extremely awkward, we were standing there & the hostess kept going back & forth, as if they didn't want to move it when there was more than enough space. So we asked to keep our table inside (as per our reservation). We immediately heard the chef owner scream'set up their f******* table' in the middle of the restaurant. It was very embarrassing. Then i saw they were setting a table that seemed somewhat secluded in a corridor, with the lit drink fridges & wine racks. I asked if this was our table & i was told yes & there is no other. I said fine. The chef owner then came to unecessarily confront me & asked me if i wanted to eat here tonight. I said yes since its my birthday & i had been trying to come for weeks. He completely disregarded my answer & kept fishing for problems & asked why I didn't like the table & what not, i explained objectively that it was fine i was just asking if there were any other since it seemed a bit off from the rest. Instead of calming down, acknowledging my desire to move forward, my birthday & how nicely I responded to his tantrum, he turned to my friend accusing her of wanting to leave a bad review & asked us'get the f*** out'. I think its safe to say giant spiders are not enjoyable & this first reaction to scream about it should've me been our queue to leave. I have never seen a business owner treat anyone like this, i get this is a tiring business & clients are sometimes difficult but I don't think people should be treated like punching bags. We went to Maiko where we were welcomed (as usual) despite them being super busy, they definitely deserved our (plenty) business.
I'm an avid restaurant-goer, & I must say my experience here tonight was quite disappointing. I came here for my birthday dinner, & from the moment I walked in, i was underwhelmed by the overall ambiance & atmosphere. This place is way overhyped, it did not live up to my expectations & given the price, there are great restaurants in the West Island where your money is better spent, this is not one of them.
Had a horrible night !
1) staff is so rude & unprofessional
2) terrasse is full of spiders!!!!
3) chef / owner was cursing !!!! Very very aggressive !
4) the ventilation is horrible.
5) resto does not answer the phone goes to voice mail directly.
5) way overpriced for the experience.
Do not waste ur time , we have a million better resto in montreal.
What a shame!
It's unfortunate that the ventilation is so bad in the restaurant, it stinks ! U cant enjoy ur dinner.
Plus the staff is so rude & unprofessional.
I don't recommended at all.
