J'aime leur poutine avec le fromage en grain coupé en tranche, cela fond dans la bouche. Demander de ne pas'pacter' ben dur car sinon vous aurez de la misère à prendre des bouchées sans que cela se morcèle. Leur hamburger spécial est à tomber !

We stopped in at Restaurant Gregoire & Fils in Mercier in June 2026, & despite the heavy construction in the area, the visit was still very smooth. The detours to reach the restaurant are clearly marked, & the signage makes it easy to find your way, even if you are coming off the highway. It's one of those places where you do need to expect some extra driving time, but the access is still straightforward & worth the effort.
The food was exactly what you hope for from a classic Quebec roadside stop. The poutine was excellent, with generous portions & that satisfying comfort-food flavor, & the burger was solid as well. Adding a drink makes it a great combo meal, especially if you want something filling without overcomplicating the order. The menu has a good old-school feel, & the whole experience fits the no-fuss, hearty roadside diner vibe.
The restaurant itself was clean & well kept, & the washroom was also clean, which is always a big plus when traveling. Overall, this is a convenient stop with easy highway access, good signage, & reliable comfort food. Even with the construction & detours, it remains a worthwhile place to pull over for a satisfying meal.

Aucune attente pour passer commande, mais j'ai attendu 40 min pour 2 poutines régulières. Le service est trop long. La poutine, c'est ok (8/10), le prix est très bon (9/10).

Pour la poutine, j'étais pas sûr pour le fromage slicé & après l'avoir essayé je ne suis vraiment pas convaincu.

Portion généreuse pour 9$.
Beaucoup de frites & bonnes frites maison.

Par contre le ratio fromage / frites est déficient. Ça prendrait du fromage dans le fond.

Resto Grégoire, c'est un classique pour la poutine entre autres. J'aime bien quand les morceaux de fromage ont été coupés en plus petits morceaux. Les plats sont chauds, endroit ultra propre & ils n'acceptent aucun pourboire.

WOW! ALLEZ-Y!

J'ai prit une poutine régulière.
Elle est MALADE!
Les frites sont minces & croustillantes comme je les aimes.
Le fromage est du style coupé en tranche en quantité industriel!!!
Pour la sauce que j'ai demandé à part, .50 cents de plus... pour la mettre au fur & à mesure sinon les frites ramolissent trop rapidement à mon goût est parfaite & la quantité est parfaite.
Vu leur énorme popularité, un vendredi 18h, j'ai attendu au moins 30 minutes dehors & en dedans avant de pouvoir commandé & environ 45 minutes pour avoir ma commande.
Le prix est un peu plus cher que j'ai l'habitude de payer.
Le stationnement est assez serré & toujours plein 😆
Lorsque je suis parti vers 19h30 le resto débordait de gens 👏

Je donne quand même un 9.8/10
