35$ with tax & 10% service for take order of 2 smoked meat sandwiches which were good but I felt it's overpriced..& I mean 2 sandwiches only
Good for a quick bite.
Imagine that dinner in Seinfeld, but then make it Canadian & it's menu has practically anything you could want at all hours of the day. Prices are usually $ I got a shepherds pie poutine last time because it's strange-ness was calling me- was delicious. Wouldn't be off for me to order it again. If you're just walking by & hungry, get 1-2'steamés'.. these are boiled hotdogs in steamed buns.. usually served with mustard & onions, don't take my description wrong- they are good. & no one will be mad if you switch it to ketchup/relish, just tell them i sent you
Ambiance diner sympa. Service ultra rapide & efficace. Poutine excellente.
Cute place with lots of memorabilia & old timey booths. The staff doesn't smile much, Not a fan of the dark gravy sauce on the poutine & the fries weren't as crispy as I'd like them. Cheap & decent hotdogs.
Smoke beef & potato's were generously served. Best smoke beef I had in Montreal for all my four trips.
I went to Greenspot & ordered food; the server was great, but a few moments later, another server came & told me I couldn't have my coffee from Tim Hortons because of branding issues. I understand, but it's not like I'm showing it to everyone. She proceeded to talk to other workers, gossiping & bringing a cup to pour my drink, which seemed unnecessary for just one cup that wasn't bothering anyone. The food & server were amazing, but the other lady should have been more respectful & less rude about it. Also, it's not a store policy. Additionally, I received the wrong receipt, & they were overcharging me by $10. It's like they did because of the drink I brought.
Traditional diner. Kind servers. Decent prices. Good bacon & eggs & toast breakfast.
Great environment, well decorated. Price honest & food well served. Best hamburger of notre dame.
Saturday for lunch so of course the place was packed. But that didn't slow the service down one bit, & the food was great as usual. You will never be disappointed when you drop in here for a bite to eat. There's a reason they have been open for so many years & are still always packing people in!
"Diner" très sympa, on sent qu'on est en Amérique ! Ambiance conviviale & service chaleureux. Les plats sont copieux & très bons, service rapide
Okay food. Thought it would have been better the way others talk about this place.
Really busy restaurant. Food & service are great. The only bad thing is trying to get a parking spot in downtown Montreal.
I like the food here, however I visited this place on the 21st of April & was sick with food poisoning after eating their food. I ordered a mino-taur poutine & a maximus burger. From looking at other comments, it seems that people get sick from eating the bacon/ground beef. Please review your food safety & handling policies. Thanks, Chad
