Aujourd'hui, nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant & malheureusement, nous n'avons pas eu une bonne expérience. La nourriture était froide & le comportement de la serveuse n'était pas sympa du tout. Elle nous a demandé plusieurs fois si on avait fini, alors qu'on était encore en train de manger & de parler. Je ne recommande pas ce resto.

Poutine: -fries 3/5 -cheese 5/5 -sauce 4/5 More sauce would be a bit beneficial too compensate with the fries but other than that thats a more than decent classic cantine poutine
The waitress with short blond hair hates her job... Or maybe she's just having a bad day, but this should not fall on the customers. You don't need to be unfriendly... Neutral is fine too! Besides that, I like the place!
Excellent food, enough serving for one in whatever you order. Tried their pancakes & French toast & also omelette. Requested to avoid beans & bacon in both platters. They were kind to make omelettes without bacon & add cheese,capsicum & onions instead Instead of beans they provided nothing .. although requested for extra hash brown. The Tomato 🍅 noodles(Marconi's )soup was too delicious & filling Also loved the toasted bread coated with butter along with Jam & Peanut butter as slide lines packets. Initial it looked too crowded with long waiting time but the service was fast & in 5-7min we were seated. The dining table is too congested & got for only two but we four people had to accommodate. I guess it is the style that we see in Netflix "The River -dale"
Commander sous-marin Bravo 10 pouces. Reçu nos assiettes assez rapidement de la serveurse. Sous-marin a beaucoup de garnitures (steak, pepperoni, salade, etc) & très bon. Les pizza & les poutines ont l'air énormes aussi. Cela explique pourquoi le restaurant existe depuis longtemps & est toujours populaire. Près du métro Lionel-Groulx.
Was here with some buddies late after a concert in Montreal, has a good time & the food was great & the beer selection was decent as well. The staff were accommodating & I liked how it was open late & close to our Air BnB.
Great spot in St Henri, I always have breakfast here at least once while visiting Montreal. Love the old world feel to the place & the food is good & plenty. Service not the best but you get your food quickly & it's tasty.
Top notch for late late night food, but there's not a lot of competition. I wouldn't bring a guest. As a diner during the day, it's middling. The fries are inconsistent. I was trying to show someone a proper Quebec poutine & it was a fail, but I've had decent ones from here. That all sounds pretty negative. Let me end with: this is 1000x better than chains & if you want a steamy or classic diner fare you cannot go wrong.
The Popeye's chicken is the best grilled burger I've had in Montréal so far; the attention to detail, the onion rings, the thick cheese, the pickle--all making it perfection between the buns🙂 & the server named Cody is so nice. I will be trying it more often !
