If you are looking for a family style diner with friendly atmosphere....this is your place. Not a lot of frills but comfort & warmth are in abundance. The staff seemed happy & you just can't help but feel welcomed. The'motor oil' poutine gravy...INSANELY GOOD....I have lived here for 19 yrs & have heard of the Green Stop often...I finally made it & have no regrets. The smoked meat was the most tender I have tried yet. Will go back, I love that it's a place you can go in your sweats & baseball cap & just feel at ease...you will absolutely not leave hungry!

J'ai été bien accueilli, malgré que je suis arrivé 30 minutes avant la fermeture. J'ai mangé un smoked meat avec frites.

Le smoked meat avait très bon goût. De vraies patates frites! Elles étaient excellentes.

Prix très acceptable.

I went there twice for take-out since it is very close to my work. The service is fantastic, & so quick. The food is delicious, I always go with smoked meat combo.

Green stop is not what it used to be. 4.69 +tx extra for 4 slices of smoked meat... nothing special about the rest of the food. I no longer recommend this place.

The smoked meat sandwich was ok. The fries looked ancient & refried once too many. Cole slaw was cabage passed in a blender. Don't look up. The filty air vents will send you running. Never, ever going back there again.
