Reviews describe Greektown Grill as a welcoming spot with authentic Greek flavors, where many diners praise fresh ingredients and dishes like calamari, grilled octopus, lamb, souvlaki, gyro, lemon potatoes, and spinach feta pie, noting generous portions and solid value for the West Island and surrounding areas. The atmosphere is described as light and warm with friendly staff and a family feel, though a few comments point to slower service, crowded tables, or inconsistent portion sizes and pricing across locations. Takeout and catering receive strong praise for reliability, freshness, and ease for large gatherings, while dine-in experiences are highlighted for attentive service and hospitality. Several reviews mention standout service and staff who seem genuinely invested in guests, though a small number report missteps such as incorrect orders or substitutions. Overall Greektown Grill is seen as a top option for authentic Greek cuisine in the area, with many raving about signature dishes and hospitality and noting that visits can vary by timing and location.
Had two excellent catering experiences for my teams with this restaurant. Will continue to use them whenever we are in town. Thanks for the great service & amazing food.
Food was super tasteful & well seasoned. Great portions. Friendly staff. Owner came out & asked how the food was & brought a rack of hot sauces over because we mentioned we liked spicy stuff. One of the few places open for lunch during the week in the west island. Would definitely go again
Food was great, service was great! We only found the restaurant to be over crowded. Between the group behind us there is barely enough space to move your chair,if your in the middle of the table, everyone needs to get up to move (this may have been an unusual circumstance). Lineup at the bathroom was not enjoyable either. We will still go back, but probably for takeout.
Lamb i dont think comes from quebec prolly that weird australian lamb. At that price get the quebec lamb makes all the difference. If not the rest of the food was ok. Definitely onenof best places in west island but that not hard to achieve

The grilled octopus was outstanding! Served with red onion & capers with a splash of lemon YUM! The chicken in pita was lovely as well. Fries, amazing! The only ding- they have a lemon drop martini on the menu for $12 but I ordered a dirty martini which came with no olives- hmmm. I was told they ran out of olives- I said well I hope you don't change me full price- I mean come on- a dirty martini IS about the olives- sure enough, I was charged full price-$15…. It's not about the money but customer satisfaction. Food was great but bar needs some attention.
Here from NS, & first time at a Greek restaurant. Came with family from Montreal who had heard good reviews.
We were all very impressed with the food as well as the service (Sarah was our server & she was knowledgeable, adept & lovely). Best salmon I ever ate (& I'm a Maritimer!) & everyone else in our party was very pleased as well.
