Wow,wow wow. The minute you walk in you are welcomed by the staff & owner.Even the chef came to talk to us after his shift. The food is top notch, tasty & fresh. The entres were to die for (Mac'n cheese, calamari, cheese dish, salad everything was a hit. Their burgers, steak, lamb chops & chicken were all amazing & yes we gave the dishes back empty. This place deserves a try & I will guarantee you that your visit will become a repeat several times .
We had the best time here. The staff was great & the food was delicious. The tuna burgers at the grill salad fresh, delicious, & not dried out at all. The fries are great. So was that calamari & Caesar salad. Shrimp rolls were great.
Proportions are a good size & we all left satisfied.
What an incredible dining experience at Greasy Spoon in the heart of Mile End, Montreal! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, & beautifully designed-the perfect place to enjoy a memorable meal.
We started with the calamari, which were perfectly crispy & tender. The Greek salad was exceptionally fresh, bursting with flavour & made with quality ingredients. The steak was cooked to perfection-juicy, tender, & full of flavour-& the blackened salmon was absolutely outstanding, perfectly seasoned & cooked just right.
The service was friendly & attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. From the delicious food to the beautiful ambiance, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back & highly recommend Greasy Spoon to anyone looking for an exceptional meal in Montreal!

I crave their fish n chips. Its absolutely phenomenal!! Whether you are having tartare, calamari,fries or steak, everything is cooked to perfection & the best part.... its well priced. Definitely a regular spot for us to dine.
Food is good. We had fish & chips, lobster rolls, calamari, oysters, steak, & tartare. I've been here about 3 times over the past 2 years. Portions are getting smaller. It's expensive. Service is a bit'hit & miss'. Starts off good & then they tend to forget you. I like the atmosphere. Average place. You could do a lot better however you most certainly can do a lot worst.
We have been going to Greasy Spoon for 10 years & every time the food & service are amazing!! It is also our three teenagers' fav place; to each their own taste!! Amazing tuna burger, cheese burger, juicy fried chicken burgers!! We have had bavette, ribs (pork & beef) , & roasted cornish hen before. We always get some calamari or salmon tartare with oysters as appetizers!! Their cocktails are loaded with alcoholl!! We always get the half-baked cookie with ice cream, & today we had the perfect cheesecake!!! Great job Angelo training all the waiters & waitresses; always making us feel special when we visit!
One word... AMAZING!!! I went with my mom & brother on a Wednesday night, the moment we came in we were greeted very well. Service was exceptional, our water was always filled, plates were taken as soon as we were done. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, very polite, patient & kind. The owner, Angelo really cares about his restaurant & it shows!! He puts so much effort to make us customers feel welcome & that we're satisfied. It just makes the experience so much more fun! For the atmosphere, I loved it. The decor is so fun to look at & gives off a good vibe. The food was beyond my expectations, the mac n cheese & calamari is a must!! I had the salmon tartare, which im usually picky about but this one was very well done! My mom had the fish n chips & the batter was full of flavour! We also had the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream for dessert & holy it was delicious. In all, this resto is definitely worth it. Thank you Angelo & all the staff for this pleasant experience:)
Scrumptious food. Succulent calamari everything is fresh & delicious & beautiful to look at including fabulous homemade desserts. Attentive & friendly service & a great atmosphere. Wonderful outdoor terrace for summer as well.
