Mon conjoint & moi avons découvert ce restaurant par hasard. Nous voulions essayer qqc chose de nouveau vraiment pas déçue.
L'ambiance sur la terrasse était vraiment Nice avec de l'excellente musique éclairage cozy. Le propriétaire ou gérant je ne me souviens plus de son nom était vraiment agréable a discuter. Les drinks la nourriture étaient vraiment délicieux ! Le service de Despina était très professionnel elle était souriante & très serviable. Elle nous a servi comme ci nous étions des membres de sa famille. Y retourné oui sans hésiter avec des collègues de travail pour un événement.

What an incredible Gem in Montreal! From the drinks, starters & entrees are 100% on point! What a place! ! If you have not been you have to try asap!!! What an atmosphere my family & I could not stop raving about how incredible the staff, owners & food were! Don't miss out go check it out! We would definitely be back! Loved it!

Recently discovered this place through a friend & i've been a few times since & it's never disappointed. Always a great vibe, staff are amazing & accommodating, food is delicious with a great variety of dishes to choose from, same with the drinks list & you can personalise your drink too!
Definitely a hotspot for an awesome night, 100% recommend.

I've been coming to Greasy for past few years & always have a brilliant night. I always experience the best cocktails, Marouan at the bar makes the best drinks. All the staff are amazing, very friendly, top service, best quality food.

Definitely recommend!

Best Sangria in town made by Heba! Fantastic service & personable staff all around! Came here with my mom & we had a great evening, I will definitely be back! Food: Wings - housemade BBQ sauce slathered over a full wing (tip included!!). Meaty, delicious, skin crisped just right. Escargot - plentiful, topped with a garlic cheese with nice crisp bread. 100% will order again. Drinks: Sangria - presented beautifully showing that gorgeous divide I want to see before it's mixed! Topped with fresh strawberries, a rare treat & only typically offered by the best. Atmosphere - cozy & personable, heat lamps in the evening to stave off any chill, terrasse seating is always a plus! Can't wait to try out more items on the menu :)

Always a great experience. Owner on site making sure everything is like clockwork. Caesar salad is amazing with an authentic dressing. Haven't had a bad thing on the menu. Barkeepers are skilled at making any drink. Not to be missed.

J'ai fêté mon anniversaire hier soir au Greasy Spoon & j'ai été vraiment satisfaite de l'ambiance, du service & de la nourriture. Un cadre parfait pour un drink en terrasse entre amis ou en famille, le staff est super souriant & donne envie de faire la fête. Merci à toute l'équipe du Greasy🙏🏻

This has been my favourite bar since I moved to Montreal. The owner is a great host & servers are the best (for real). Try their lobster rolls, I was amazed!! Tartares & chicken burger are my faves too! For drinks, ask their special, Old Cuban, secretly crafted by Marouane & now available in the menu, you gonna love it!!

Marwin our waiter was so attentive & lovely. Just the sweetest. The maitre de was welcoming & delightful. Food amazing. Drinks Devine! Loved it. It was our first night in Montreal & a great introduction to the city!

Food was pretty great but the service was awful. Took 20 minutes to get menus & another 10 on top for our drinks. If they managed good service, they could have much more turnaround on each table & be more profitable...

Always a pleasure to eat & drink at Greasy Spoon! Everything on the menu is delicious especially the tartares, lobster roll, lamb chops, grilled salmon & of course the cookie dessert! Thanks for the wonderful service!

WOW! This restaurant was not what I remembered it being. Honestly, Im a harsh critic for restaurants, but my recent experience at Greasy Spoon was entirely positive. The restaurant has recently changed owners/management & I must say that I'll be going back thanks to the good food & service.

I went on a Saturday night with a girlfriend. Had no trouble getting a reservation earlier in the week & finding parking. We were eating a late meal, around 10 pm. I had the tuna tartare to start & the burger as my main course with a salad. Let me tell you, the tuna tartare was ONE OF THE BEST that i've had in a long time. The burger was also really good but for me, it was too big. It was also one of the best burgers i've had in Montreal. My girlfriend has the fried calamari to start, which isn't necessarily for me, but I have to admit it was tasty, especially the spicy marinara sauce that came with it. She also had a burger & LOVED it.

As for the drinks, I ordered a custom apple cucumber martini & the bartender had no hesitation to make it, & it was good. Just the right amount of alcohol & other ingredients.

The dessert for me was a miss. I didnt like the lemon meringue pie. I found it to be runny & the consistency didnt blend well with the graham & the foam on top (egg white foam or marshmallow?).

All in all, I'd give this resto an 8.5/9. I will definitely go back. The prices are reasonable, the environment is fun (you can catch a hockey game here ;)), & the food is good. Bravo to the new owners of G.S.!
