About

Goza Café provides a space centered on the preparation of artisanal pastries and house-made ice cream. The pastry display features golden, flaky croissants alongside rich, buttery tarts that balance delicate textures with deep, authentic flavors. Every batch of ice cream emphasizes pure ingredients, resulting in a creamy consistency that carries bright notes of fresh fruit and bold cocoa. The aroma of freshly ground coffee beans permeates the environment, complementing the sweet profile of the baked goods. Patrons encounter a straightforward menu where the quality of each ingredient defines the final result. This establishment maintains a clear identity through a simple selection of treats that rely on traditional preparation methods to achieve satisfying, well-defined tastes in every bite.

Review Summary

Goza Café has quickly become a standout destination in the Mile End, celebrated for its bright, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors frequently praise the exceptional quality of the coffee and the unique Mexican-inspired menu, with popular highlights including the horchata matcha and specialty drinks like the lechero Veracruz. The staff is consistently described as friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, contributing to an overall sense of warmth. While some patrons find the music volume a bit high or suggest adjustments to serving sizes, the general consensus is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return for the great vibes, comfortable work space, and beautiful terrace.

Mexican coffee shop Great coffee with cool vibes inside. They were playing cumbia when I went in. They Roast beans in house.

Had an iced latte with light roast beans. If you like the taste of coffee I recommend it.
Lovely people work there too.

Only thing I would warn the shop is to tell their baristas not to pour the hot espresso over ice to save a couple seconds. You have good beans. why ruin them by diluting & bittering their flavor.

20/10 this is such an AMAZING new spot in the Mile End. I stumbled in after reeeeling at the Olimpico line & was completely BLOWN away by the friendly staff, the delicious coffee, & their inspirational story. I spoke with the owner about his dreams to bring Mexican coffee to Montreal & he described his personal relationship with the farmers of the coffee beans. Their mission & the atmosphere they bring to their shop is one of a kind & I would encourage anyone visiting or living in Montreal to stop by & give them a try. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
