They use the same cup for the large as the regular , & tells us that for the regular they only fill the cup partially when there's clearly a bigger cup in display. While the iced cups follow the standard practice. It's a little funny why they would sabotage the reputation just to be cheap
Re- response from owner:
1. When I ordered for the large cup, the lady never told me it would be the smaller cup but filled a bit more. (fyi it wasn't exactly filled to the brim neither)
2. I've worked in the bubble tea industry before, the fact that you guys only fill a portion of the cup if the customer ordered the regular size is deceptive & cheap by nature. When we order for a regular bubble tea we should expect a 500ml drink in Montreal, when its a large it should be 700ml.
3. If you're having issues with the inventory, then remove the displayed large cup. I also see there were plenty of stacked yellow extra large cups at the order counter, so a normal person would expect you at least have large cups that are smaller compared to those yellow ones. You clearly didn't intend to communicate this with your customers else you would remove those from display.
4.'We are not sorry we were not up to your standards' I believe that's just a typo or it'd be a little ridiculous.

The staff was friendly, but the drink was meh. The waffle with mango ice cream: presentation was great, taste was alright. Took a while to wait for the waffles too. The keychains were cute so I purchased one! The drinks.... Although ordered 30% sugar, it tasted like 70% sugar, & flavors were super artificial with an aftertaste. Furthermore, our drinks were made wrong, as you can see the sticker says'Large' on both of the QQ peach green tea & were in fact made medium-sized (compared to the brown sugar oolong milk tea in the middle which was made to size large). We returned to the shop the next day as we were in a hurry the day of purchase. We weren't able to get a refund but we did get the same two drinks, this time with 0% sugar which was slightly better. All in all, I don't prefer their drinks & would probably go somewhere else for bubble tea next time.
Order 6 croffles thru delivery. What can i say more. Just look at the pictures. 5 out of the 6 Croffle's batter is still raw. The shape is not even a croffle shape. Not acceptable. Owner please comment & what went wrong?

So as promised by Gong Cha owner, I went back for the croffles. Before going back, I had a great communication with the owner & their emails reply were quick. Arriving on site, the employee was aware of the order & didn't took long to get the croffles ready. (See new uploaded picture) Croffles were delicious & the service was great! Also ordered 2 drinks & they were perfectly done. 2nd chance granted with 5 stars! Hopefully next time it will be as fresh as this time.
Ordered a hot taro milk tea yesterday, but it had a strong aftertaste akin to raw corn. Not sure if it's because of the base tea, but I sadly had to throw the drink away because it just tasted weird & not like any taro milk tea I've had before.
Unfortunately, they also got my friend's order wrong (probably misheard), but she let it slide to avoid causing trouble.
The bubble waffle was delicious, though!

've visited Gong Cha Brossard several times, & overall I've been impressed with the quality of their drinks & their excellent customer service. While I initially had a mixed experience, the team at Gong Cha takes customer feedback seriously & has shown a commitment to maintaining high standards. Their drinks, especially the Lychee Oolong & Matcha Milk Tea, are delicious when made with care. It's clear that they prioritize customer satisfaction, & that makes all the difference. I'll definitely be returning & recommend them to anyone looking for great bubble tea!
Just wanted to update my review as I went back to test out the same drink again. The staff was very accommodating & kind. The drink tasted much better & satisfied my expectations. I really appreciate & respect how they addressed this issue. I will be back :) ___________ I went here yesterday because I was really excited to try the new pumpkin spice milk tea with milk foam. To my disappointment, it tasted very diluted & like watered down cinnamon tea. The color was not even orange. At first I thought it was because of the foam, but when I poured it out, I could see that the tea was beige & not orange as pictured in the advertisement photos. Also this small size costs more than 10$ with tax. The bubble waffles not pictured here were also overcooked & cold. I normally really enjoy the tea & bubble waffles however I was really disappointed with the visit.
Service was polite & efficient. Although there are only a few options to pick from as of now, each of the options are very unique & different from each other. Compared to a lot of other bubble tea stores, the prices are amazing as a large drink is only around 7 dollars. We also received a 10% for their opening month which was great. Be careful when ordering though, the drinks are extremely sweet & luckily the counter waitress warned me. Even at 70% sugar was a bit too sweet for me. In terms of flavours, everything tasted great. From the milk foam that brought a great hint of saltiness to the brown sugar that brought in an amazing contrasting sweetness & even the tapioca that had a great chewing texture to it. I really enjoyed their drink. I'll definitely love to come back & try more of their drinks, also their waffles if I get the chance next time. (5 months ago) It feels great coming back & seeing such a large variety of drinks in their menu. Most of them are fairly innovative & unique. I tried their Creme Brulee Strawberry drink & it was perfect for me. The balance of flavours, the level of sweetness & the slight hint of saltiness which compliments the whole drink, everything just felt amazing for me. I will definitely be back to try more of their drinks & maybe try their waffles & croffles too.
