Gon Bui is a new Chinese resto-bar inspired by the lost temples in China. Gon Bui means 'Cheers' in Cantonese. We create our own new-Asian tapas dishes, inspired from traditional with a playful twist.
Gon Bui Restaurant Bar delivers a stylish, welcoming atmosphere with moody lighting, chic decor and a fortune tree that adds a memorable touch for any occasion. The menu blends Chinese inspired flavors with contemporary twists and offers plenty of shareable plates that are flavorful, well presented and often praised for freshness. Really great spot for drinks & food! Some dishes were sadly mid, others were delicious. Stand outs were the mapo tofu, bang bang cauliflower, & shrimp dumplings. The salmon tartare left much to be desired.
Overall I'd recommend this place. Beautiful decor & atmosphere. Very unique menu, & a broad drink menu.
It's been a while since i wanted to try this restaurant, & it didn't disappoint. It is more of a tapas sharing type place, which is perfect for trying different dishes. We ordered 6 dishes for 3 people, & every dish was filled with flavored. The drinks were great as well. Monday's there are deals on their sangrias.
The only negative part was that we wanted to order more, but the restaurant became busy, & they seemed overwhelmed. But when definitely give it a second try.

Les Drinks sont excellents.
Certaines choses sont bonne mais sans plus.
Les nouilles Jiang Jiang ne sont que des nouilles Udon dans une sauce hoisin épaissi au Cornstach. Franchement là c'était honteux.
Les prix sont très élevé pour ce que vous recevez.
J'ai adoré la première fois que je suis allé dans les débuts, il y avait de la passion dans l'air mais ma dernière visite me dit que'vous n'allez pas me revoir'.
Je vous souhaites tout de même bonne chance en espérant que je suis seulement mal tombé.
FANTASTIC restaurant. The food, the drinks & the service were all spectacular. I ordered a lot & loved every single bite. The Hong Kong curry is an absolute must-have.
I will be coming back to try more cocktails. 😅😁😍
Absolutely loved the hostess (very warm & welcoming) & a big thank you to my waiter, Clark. The service was timely & efficient.
Went here for father's day, the food was quite good especially the fried calamari. The steak was however the worst steak i've ever had, it had a greyish colour & my whole family thought that the taste was off.

Had an amazing experience at Gon Bui!
We originally booked for 32 people, but way more ended up showing up (oops 😅). Despite the unexpected crowd, the staff handled everything like pros - super friendly, organized, & made sure everyone was taken care of.
The food was SO good!!!! fresh, flavorful, & came out surprisingly fast for such a big group. Everyone left full & happy. Huge thanks to the team for being so accommodating & making it all run smoothly. Highly recommend for any kind of group get-together or even just a chill brunch. We'll definitely be back!

J'ai adoré mon expérience à ce resto. Clark a su nous expliquer tout le nouveau menu & nous guider dans notre choix. Meilleur serveur ever & belle énergie !! La déco est nice ! La bouffe délicieuse!!! DJ super !!! On reviendra c'est sûr !!! & j'ai pu écrit un souhait pour ma fête 🤩
The brunch menu is bussin! Amazing food & cocktails! The service on a Saturday AM was a little slow… & although the decor is super cute, the vibe was quiet & mellow. I will definitely go back to check out their brunch events & try more items off of their delicious brunch menu!!
Gon Bui has a really cool atmosphere - the décor is modern & trendy, with that signature fortune tree adding a unique touch. It's definitely a place made for Instagram. The service was friendly, though a bit slow at times. The food looked great but portions were smaller than expected for the price, & while some dishes were flavorful, others felt underwhelming. Cocktails were creative but not all of them hit the mark. Music was fun but got too loud, making conversation hard. Overall, it's a decent spot for a night out with friends, but not quite worth the hype or the higher price tag.
