Gon Bui is a new Chinese resto-bar inspired by the lost temples in China. Gon Bui means 'Cheers' in Cantonese. We create our own new-Asian tapas dishes, inspired from traditional with a playful twist.

Très déçu par mon expérience. J'étais venu spécifiquement pour découvrir le concept de l'enveloppe surprise, mais elle ne m'a même pas été servie. Côté cuisine, la déception continue : la qualité est médiocre, notamment les calamars frits qui étaient totalement fades & sans saveur. Je ne recommande pas.
Ive been here 3 times now, & its amazing each time.
The prices are great, the food is phenomenal flavour & quality, the atmosphere is great, the service is great. This is honestly one of my favourite places in laval to get drinks & dinner with friends.
Perfect for a date night or girls night out.
It was my first time at their brunch & i will definitely be back to try more on the menu!! Cant recommend enough

Nous avons apprécié nos verres & notre entrée. Par contre, le service était inadéquat à certains moments & les repas principal étaient ordinaires.
J'ai dû demander à un serveur de vérifier à la cuisine car mon amie n'avait pas son assiette principale & moi oui. Elle l'a reçue environ 15 minutes après moi & nous étions deux seulement.
On nous a mentionné un rabais: deuxième drink à 5$ & il était à 6$ finalement
& arrivé au paiement par carte, le pourboire est encore après les taxes, malgré la nouvelle Loi 72 depuis mai 2025...
Excellent service Clark une merveille très beau sourire il a pris son temps pour nous expliquer le menu … je vais retourner à cette endroit assuré ! Je vous le recommande

Juste wow j'ai eu un party surprise pour ma fête ce soir à ce restaurant & honnêtement super belle expérience côté bouffe, drink & ambiance & quoi dire du décor. Je recommande à tous cette endroit j'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner. Bravo à l'équipe qui nous as tous servi 30 personnes & pas oublier le dj ça musique elle étais parfaite pour la soirée.
We have already been here for dinner when it opened & loved it. Today we came to try out the brunch...everything was delicious & it was a different brunch experience compared to the regular places!! Strongly recommend!

Ce fut une très belle découverte culinaire d'un mélange de cuisine chinoise & canadienne.
Nous avons passer un bon moment en famille & nous y reviendrons très certainement.
La serveuse très gentille & le service assez rapide!
Les plats suggéré sorte de l'ordinaire & sont absolument délicieux!
Perso nous avons adorée en particulier les calmars frits & tous était franchement une découverte gustative des plus agréable!
Je recommande ce resto à tous ceux qui ont envie de découvrir des nouveaux plats & qui sont tout près du carrefour de laval ou qui passe par la comme nous ce soir.
We had a great experience with this tapas-style restaurant. The food we had was delicious & the portions very reasonable (we took 6 portions for 2 people & we had leftovers; 4 portions would have been enough) & the cocktails are equally delicious & beautifully presented. Staff is really friendly & even offered us a treat on the house at the end. I would highly recommend for a date night.

Went for brunch. The food was outstanding, very tasty & unique. Had the wonton soup, fried beef dumbling, croquette & general tao waffle. All very good. Drinks are amazing, had the amaretto sour, spicy margarita, cappuccino & the rice lager, once again, delicious. Had a great experience. Highly recommended
Cela fait quelques fois que j'y vais & je ne suis jamais déçue! La nourriture est excellente & la présentation aussi ! Le service est impeccable!!! Le garçon qui nous servait était super gentil & amical ! Le barman venait nous porter nos cocktails à la table & lui aussi était vraiment très gentil! J'adore cet endroit & je le recommande x1000! Merci beaucoup :)
Really great spot for drinks & food! Some dishes were sadly mid, others were delicious. Stand outs were the mapo tofu, bang bang cauliflower, & shrimp dumplings. The salmon tartare left much to be desired.
Overall I'd recommend this place. Beautiful decor & atmosphere. Very unique menu, & a broad drink menu.

We originally booked for 32 people, but way more ended up showing up (oops 😅). Despite the unexpected crowd, the staff handled everything like pros - super friendly, organized, & made sure everyone was taken care of.
The food was SO good!!!! fresh, flavorful, & came out surprisingly fast for such a big group. Everyone left full & happy. Huge thanks to the team for being so accommodating & making it all run smoothly. Highly recommend for any kind of group get-together or even just a chill brunch. We'll definitely be back!
