Gon Bui is a new Chinese resto-bar inspired by the lost temples in China. Gon Bui means 'Cheers' in Cantonese. We create our own new-Asian tapas dishes, inspired from traditional with a playful twist.
Gon Bui Restaurant Bar delivers a stylish, welcoming atmosphere with moody lighting, chic decor and a fortune tree that adds a memorable touch for any occasion. The menu blends Chinese inspired flavors with contemporary twists and offers plenty of shareable plates that are flavorful, well presented and often praised for freshness. Cocktails are inventive and varied, with many options and some standout signatures that complement the bold flavors. Gon Bui is one of the most beautifully designed restaurants I've been to. It was captivating no matter where you sat & just for that I recommend visiting this spot. The food was tasty, eye-catching & with generous portions that are shareable like the menu states. Even the sauces were unique & delicious! I would come back here solely for the battered cauliflower or the Chinese churros, which I highly recommend. I do have to give my impatient restaurant-goers a few warnings: even though they weren't busy & there was enough staff, it seemed that they didn't really know what they were doing. It took a while for the server to take our order after we were seated & the food was not delivered together. We weren't even given plates of utensils for a while after our first plates were delivered. Then to top it off, our server hadn't been to our table in a while, & it took three attempts with multiple servers to order dessert. Luckily we were not in a rush so this didn't ruin our experience, but I felt like it needed to be addressed.
this place was so good, great service, great vibe, some dishes i personally like elsewhere & i rly didnt like my 3 drinks but ill try it again just cuz service & vibe was A1
Great place, great atmosphere, & our waiter Remi was awesome. Overall the food was good (except for the calamari, which was incredibly salty). We'd go back for sure
The restaurant combines traditional Chinese cuisine & western bistro style. The decoration & the bar with music provides a popular ambience. If you are looking for a freestyle place & meet with colleagues & friends, that’s the one. However, you can’t find any evocative food here. Few choices, most of the dishes are spicy or cold served, which is not friendly for children (check what I’ve said above). Dishes portion is tiny (pictures shown are for 2 adults & 1 kid). Pickled food is easy to tell & you won’t feel confortable with it. Anyway, I think it’s only on the cusp of acceptability, I’m not really recommending.

Everything was perfect! We took many dishes to share for our group of 6 & we loved every single one. They came quickly. The calamari were especially interesting, quite different from what we’re used to. Very nice attention to detail in the decor of the place & in the presentation of each plate. & the waitress was bubbly & attentive. She brought bottles of water a few times in the evening without us asking. Great service!
J’ai adoré ! Le service fut 10/10, les employés sont super sympa.
Les tapas sont très bons & les dumpling sont également fait par le père du propriétaire (& ça paraît).
This place is super aesthetic! The red envelope tree is super pretty & the food is really tasty. The only thing I would say is that some dishes have small portions & the prices can then seem pretty high.

We love this dish! The coconut curry comes in a richer flavour & creamier thicker texture. It's perfect blend with shrimps & cauliflowers.
📌Pain doré Sud-Est
The creamy hollandaise-Chinese sauce is the highlight of this dish. The breads are soaked into the rich & sweet buttery sauce. The saltiness from the pork balance out the taste so well.
📌Crêpes Boba
It's an interesting French Taiwanese fusion dish!
Black tea infused crepes with matcha whipped cream & tapioca pearls on top.
I love the fun creation & fusion!
📌Pain Panko Ubé
It's a food of ART!
The purple yam cream sauce matches so well with the breads from La Bête à Pain. The portion is huge so it would be better to share.

Los sabores de los platillos realmente son un deleite y se preparan al momento, por lo tanto, todo está fresco.
Asistí un sábado con reservacion, por lo tanto no hubo tiempo de espera y los alimentos llegaron en menos de 15 min.
Definitivamente regresaré para probar el resto del menú
Une place où nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux! Le décors est exceptionnel, le staff est jeune & très attentionné. L'ambiance est parfaite, mais par-dessus tout la nourriture est incroyable. Nous avons pris 5 plats à partager & les 5 plats étaient bien présentés, succulents & je dirais même surprenants! Nous y retournerons pour sûr!

Came here for a quick dinner before a concert, & I absolutely loved my experience! My friend recommended the Papaya Salad & it was delicious, the Calamari was also very good with a little spicy twist to it. The decor inside was very unique, overall was a great experience:)
Tres bon nous sommes allées pour le brunch & nous avons pris en entrée les dumplings aux crevettes (Har Gao de Fortune) qui étaient très bon, ensuite nous avons essayé le nid de nouille, avec flanc de porc braisé (East to Nest) c’était très bon cela aussi, nous avons ensuite pris le pain doré avec sauce hollandaise (Pain doré Sud-Est) nous allons certainement y retourner pour soupe
N a plus la magie du debut, les plats ne sont pas autant travaillé & le prix & trop élevé pour ce qui est offert, nous n y retournerons plus malheureusement
I heard about this restaurant a long time ago from social media. Finally got the chance to go.
The restaurant is very pretty with lots of ambiance. The Chinese good fortune red tree is spectacular. The design of the restaurant is in between modern & ancient Asian designs. I was very amazed by the decoration.
The cocktails were all on point. I would definitely to come back to try other cocktails on the menu. They were all well made with a little touch of the Asian flavor. I really enjoyed there cocktails.
The food on the other hand was okay. Nothing really amazing but they were all very well presented & good. But I would say you could definitely get these dishes in Chinatown or other Chinese restaurants in cheaper price (& more tastier). There wasn't anything that I would say I would come back for the food.
I would highly recommend for people who love cocktails.
