Gon Bui is a new Chinese resto-bar inspired by the lost temples in China. Gon Bui means 'Cheers' in Cantonese. We create our own new-Asian tapas dishes, inspired from traditional with a playful twist.

Un sans faute pour ce resto! WOW! TOUT était parfait...vraiment je le recommande..le staff génial, présent & la bouffe..les meilleurs calmars ever! Les drinks incomparable! Rapport qualité/ prix du jamais vu....Quoi dire de l'ambiance..un DJ perfect! 200% pour le Gon-Bui Vous êtes A+++

Superbe ambiance! Ont était un petit groupe un samedi soir & jamais ont nous as presser de libérer nos places malgré l'achalandage, très apprécié! La nourriture était excellente & que dire des drinks, wow. Le service était courtois.
Food was fine but doesn't warrant the prices. It was overpriced in my opinion. Service was super slow. Waited more than an hour at least for our food to arrived & it wasn't a full house that night.
The restaurant is okay at best. Went for an early supper & it was evident that most staff starts past 6pm as service was none existent prior to that time. When the waiter first came, we ordered drinks & we kept looking at the food menu. 5 minutes later, waiter came back to take our food order. We ordered Ha Gao, Siu Mai, Calamari & the Lo Mein. Now the interesting part is that the 3 first dishes came before we even got our drinks which were ordered 5 minutes before we ordered the food. Both dumpings lacked flavour without the sauces that came with it. Calamari was the best from what we tried & once the lobster & toppings were eaten, the lo mein tasted like Lipton chicken noodle soup. On the plus side, the drinks that we received were delicious & the decoration is very nice. AC is a little too strong for the table along the windows. I'm glad I tried it, but won't be going back.
Great ambiance & the restaurant is beautiful. The food & drinks were very good , however The whole experience was dampered by the waitstaff. There were mistakes in orders , they couldn't remember who ordered what drinks / food. The food came out at different times ( which I normally wouldn't mind but some people only got their food an hour after the rest of the table ) the wait was long between orders & then to top it all off the bills were wrong. Despite the good food I think overall this restaurant is a pass going forward. There is amazing food to be had in this city at other restaurants with an overall much better experience.
Very good restaurant. The food was great, the drinks were very good & the service was attentive. I went with 4 people & tasted a bit of everything including the desserts. We'll definitely be back!
What a wonderful discovery for me!! It's flippin awesome! Such tasty Food, cool deco, great service & the drinks!!! 🤩! They are versatile in their offerings to the clientele, which sets them apart from restaurants nowadays that cost a fortune, but doesn't deliver on quality or service.

The food is flavorful & the service is excellent. However, the prices are on the higher side, & while the experience is enjoyable, it might not be compelling enough to make you a regular.
Seriously one of the best restaurants i experience this year. The decor is really great . The drinks look really good every single one of them . The music was great .I think it's a perfect first date spot. The food was good but its on the smaller portion side so don't hesitate to take multiple plate . I really like the experience. I will come back on Friday for the event. Don't forget your reservation

J'ai aimé ma première expérience dans ce restaurant chinois avec le concept tapas. Mon coup de coeur a été le calmar frit servi sur un lit de laitue & arrosé d'une sauce épicée. La généreuse portion de cuisses de poulet "Hong Kong Curry" accompagnées de patates & servies dans une sauce curry était délicieuse. Le service était rapide & serveur courtois.
Absolutely catastrophe. Made reservations for 2 & got seated at the dark lonely corner just by the door. Like we were in time out. Ordered & waited. My bf's first 2 dishes came by while I waited for my first. After 30mins passes by, we asked what's going on & the server said that there's been a mistake in the kitchen & that they are making now. Another 10mins go by & I finally got my first dish. While eating my second dish, my bfs main meal came by & mine didn't for another 20mins. We basically ate alone. The timing of each course was a disaster that I took my main meal to go because I had enough & wanted out of there. The only thing that was good was the dj. He was carrying the whole resto.
Nous sommes allés a ce resto pour la fête de ma fille , je cherchais un endroit « special » pour elle qui aime la bonne gastronomie & découvrir de nouvelles choses. J'avais fait des recherches & trouvé ce resto avec de bons commentaires. Cependant, nous avons été bien décu ... Peu de choix sur le menu. Ils se disent Resto de Tapas mais seulement quelques choix de tapas & 4 repas . Portions extrêmement petite ( 3 morceaux de brocoli chinois pour 14$) , mini soupe wonton servi tiède froide pour 8$, nouille au boeuf avec quasiment pas de boeuf & petit petit bol, 24$. Poutine , frites froide & peu gouteuse, 4 mini morceaux de porc sec ... Il y a par contre , des bonnes saveurs dans les plats mais l'anis étoilé est très présente dans tout les plats (même le dessert) J'aurais aimé différentes saveurs . Bref, je comprend que le prix des aliments a augmenté mais il y a quand même des limites. Cher pour peu. Cocktail très cher 16-18$ & 13$ sans alcool pour un verre rempli de glace & un peu de jus .... Nous avions encore faim en sortant & pourtant, j'ai un petit apétit. Point positif : L'ambiance est bien & le serveur était très gentil .
