Asian fusion restaurant with upscale dinning around the fortune tree. Absolutely amazing cocktails & the food is great. The dishes are well thought out aesthetically pleasing. Flavours are great & complex. Perfect for brunch or date nights. Menu changes with the seasons.

I've only been here for brunch, it's refreshing to have a place in laval that doesn't have the typical breakfast. Food & service is great but the Coffee & drinks is ridiculously expensive though

Finally got to try their weekend brunch menu. I was surprised that the restaurant was pretty empty. The ube french toast is scrumptious. The noodle wasn't very original though.

🌟One of the best brunch restaurant in Laval!
📌Crevette Curry du Matin
We love this dish! The coconut curry comes in a richer flavour & creamier thicker texture. It's perfect blend with shrimps & cauliflowers.

📌Pain doré Sud-Est
The creamy hollandaise-Chinese sauce is the highlight of this dish. The breads are soaked into the rich & sweet buttery sauce. The saltiness from the pork balance out the taste so well.

📌Crêpes Boba
It's an interesting French Taiwanese fusion dish!
Black tea infused crepes with matcha whipped cream & tapioca pearls on top.
I love the fun creation & fusion!

📌Pain Panko Ubé
It's a food of ART!
The purple yam cream sauce matches so well with the breads from La Bête à Pain. The portion is huge so it would be better to share.

Fun facts:
If you celebrate your birthday at Gon Bui. You will receive a red envelop to write down your birthday wish. Then Gon Bui will mail it to you next year.

Tres bon nous sommes allées pour le brunch & nous avons pris en entrée les dumplings aux crevettes (Har Gao de Fortune) qui étaient très bon, ensuite nous avons essayé le nid de nouille, avec flanc de porc braisé (East to Nest) c’était très bon cela aussi, nous avons ensuite pris le pain doré avec sauce hollandaise (Pain doré Sud-Est) nous allons certainement y retourner pour soupe

Bigger portions especially for the crepes would be amazing! & the Jacquiri, if it could be fruitier with the mango/pineapple notes strengthened, it would be terrific! Otherwise, great service, same as usual ;) Definitely coming back for brunch!

MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT EVER!!! & I'm very used to the Montreal & Laval restaurants but this place blew my mind. I have been twice in 1 week, once for dinner & once for brunch. The ambiance, both for dinner & brunch was top notch. THE SERVICE was exceptional!!! They make sure you have a VIP experience every time you go, we got shots offered to us both times we went which was just so fun & added to the whole experience. The food is mind blowing, both brunch & dinner. Fairly small menu but everything you eat is packed with flavour we devoured everything. Drink menu is extensive & SO GOOD! Dont even think just GO!

The decor & atmosphere makes you feel like you are in an exotic place. The menu, albeit small. offers a variety of original & most delicious food. I went for brunch & am looking forward to return for diner soon!
