Best Chinese takeout in the Montreal greater area! Literally, HANDS DOWN!!!! The ABSOLUTE best, no kidding. We are loyal customers & will continue to be it's sooooo good! HUGE PORTIONS Humble little Chinese place. Only takes cash (so you know it's legit). Quiet & clean, Golden bowl is known for their General Tao's chicken. I also got an order of chow mein. There's a good amount of spice in the chow mein & I quite enjoyed it. General Tao was good, quite sweet with the sauce. Also comes with a large serving of rice. Great place, it took over 30 minutes to receive my $79 take out meal... & at a certain point, like well after 30 minutes, you are sitting waiting & thinking "at this price the food better be really good..." I can honestly say it WAS worth the wait. The food was plentiful & delicious. Actually replace plentiful with WAY TOO MUCH! See photos... It's not a bad thing, but when you order you have to assume that every item ordered is for 2-3 people. Other than that there are way too many rude & self important customers walking in there, giving a hard time to the staff & what have you. Just look at the food prepared table & understand that Sunday evenings are pretty busy, & use your brains before you start giving the staff a hard time. Been eating there for years, they famously only take cash & only deliver after 5, none the less the food was reasonably priced. Yesterday I paid 19.25$ for one order of general Tao tofu. Double the price. I wouldn't recommend supporting this restaurant anymore.

De loin : Le Meilleur Restaurant Szechuan de la rive sud! Quantité astronomique (faut être en forme pour tout manger en un seul repas), Prix plus que raisonnable, avec une excellente qualité!
