Got general Tao chicken for take out: the guy who welcomed me was really sweet, but the lady at the cash register made me feel like my existence is a nuisance. Dreadful customer service on her end.
The food was really not that great, I liked the flavour of the sauce but a lot of the chicken bits were very soggy/slimy & gross texture wise, while other bits had a bit of a crunch to them & felt like they were actually cooked. Rice also didn't feel fresh. Only good thing was the portion size (which is how it should be considering the price)
& frustratingly they don't take credit nor debit cards, they are cash only, which is really an interesting choice to make as a business in 2025.
No dry noodles with wonton soup & the size of won ton soup is very expensive for the size.. also no receipt with my order & only cash is very suspicious!
Reste un des restos incontournable pour le thaï malgré leur salle de restaurant pas très propre & pas très accueillante & aussi leur mauvaise habitude de prendre aucune carte de débit ou crédit cash seulement personnel très gentil & très honnête pour la livraison sont rapide mais vont très loin lolll.......
On est allé au Bol d'or suite à un Tik Tok de Felipe St-Laurent (ils en fument du bon). Nous avons tout essayé ce qu'il a commandé & c'était DÉLICIEUX !!! Prenez-le Takeshi out car comme il l'a dit'on se fera pas d'cachette, l'ambiance est à chier' lolll mais entre amis on a eu du fun quand même.

One of the best Asian food experiences I've had! As soon as you walk in, the aroma of the delicious food being prepared hits you.
The peanut butter dumplings were the first item on the appetizers menu, & I was intrigued. I was so happy I ordered them that I got a second plate halfway through.
We tried the orange beef & the chef's special fried rice, both were very good! We were three people & also ordered the General Tao Shrimp. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!
I highly recommend this place. The only downside is that it's cash-only, but the trip to the ATM is totally worth it
We went there in large group & everyone was satisfied with the food. But keep in mind that they only accept cash.
Food is good but I only recommand take out, I do not recommand eating at the restaurant. This restaurant is In desperate need of a deep cleaning & reno. Only accepts cash.
Unfortunately, payment is only made in cash... Extensive menu but a menu with the ingredients & not just the name would be appreciated.
This place was recommended by friends. They said the food was delicious with large portions, so I was excited. The food was indeed great ! However, the hygiene was concerning: I found a piece of steel wool in my plate, & my friend had a piece of paper in his. We didn't complain because we noticed it immediately. Also, it's cash only, so be prepared. Maybe it's time to start accepting card payments? The food is great for the price, but I'm unsure about the rest. I might return, but not often, unless there are improvements in other areas :)
My first visiting I will recommend this restaurant I will be going back but I will place my order on the phone first before going to pick up next time.This is a hidden gem in the heart of Brossard I never imagined a restaurant in Quebec would give such a large portion of food, they literally fed my family of five people & we are full after eating the food. The images are after we ate & that's the leftover food wow, not only that I would rate the overall meal a solid 9 out of 10, the wait time was long like 30 min but wasn't a problem because they prepared the food fresh & you can see the process of them cooking it's an open kitchen, the price was just right for this entire meal make sure you bring cash an inconvenience I would say, the male concierge was nice. I saw people dine in so it's an option, but I had ordered take out.
Pick up , order ahead before pick up. There were line up already waiting for pick up. Big plate, fresh & tasty. They accept only cash.

HUGE PORTIONS Humble little Chinese place. Only takes cash (so you know it's legit). Quiet & clean, Golden bowl is known for their General Tao's chicken. I also got an order of chow mein. There's a good amount of spice in the chow mein & I quite enjoyed it. General Tao was good, quite sweet with the sauce. Also comes with a large serving of rice. Chill vibes & an easy going place.
Cash only. They brought me the wrong dish & refused to change it. Large portions. Average food.
Been eating there for years, they famously only take cash & only deliver after 5, none the less the food was reasonably priced. Yesterday I paid 19.25$ for one order of general Tao tofu. Double the price. I wouldn't recommend supporting this restaurant anymore.
