Not very clean, food is bland & lacks flavor, oddly their interac machine has been out of order for quite some time, it's an easy fix with atm cies, they only take cash. Overall not a very good experience. Entire place smells like fried oil...
I've been coming here for over 20 years since they first opened - it's a classic comfort food & loved by all family & friends in my area. Food is prepared fresh to order, great quality, huge portions & very affordable. The owners are often on site, very friendly. No complaints, I come time & time again & it's always great. My favorite dish is the young show fried rice - i've had similar dishes in Hong Kong & it is just as good here!
One of the best Asian food experiences I've had! As soon as you walk in, the aroma of the delicious food being prepared hits you.
The peanut butter dumplings were the first item on the appetizers menu, & I was intrigued. I was so happy I ordered them that I got a second plate halfway through.
We tried the orange beef & the chef's special fried rice, both were very good! We were three people & also ordered the General Tao Shrimp. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!
I highly recommend this place. The only downside is that it's cash-only, but the trip to the ATM is totally worth it
I was excited for peanut butter dumplings but was disappointed. They were too spicy & not edible. Cleary too much chili powder as sauce was red. Won ton soup spicy as well. We asked for a small side of chicken fried rice & received a huge portion of greasy rice that we will not eat. We will return for sure for the general tao chicken,takeout only as dining room is unwelcoming & crowded.
I bought the General Tao & stir-fried broccoli & shrimp. It was delicious. The portions were so generous that we ate it for three days. I highly recommend this place

Best Chinese takeout in the Montreal greater area! Literally, HANDS DOWN!!!! The ABSOLUTE best, no kidding. We are loyal customers & will continue to be it's sooooo good! The porkchops are amazing, the peanut butter dumplings my favorite, their general tao to die for. You name it, they NAIL it ! Love Golden Bowl!! Must try: fried spinach ! Peanut butter dumplings!
In love with this place, everything is so good, big portions for the price, dwlisious & not greasy like some other fast chinese food. You can now eat inside if you wish. They have a big menu with your typical dishes like general tao or fried rice even some unique dishes too.
