Service at Bol D'or Brossard
I would like to express my disappointment regarding the service we received at Bol D'or in Brossard.
When we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, with only a couple seated at two tables. I was there with my family, including my girls. Despite the large number of empty tables available, the waiter wanted to seat us at two small tables.
Considering that we were eating as a family, with children & several dishes, we politely asked to be seated at the space near the window with three tables so that we could eat more comfortably. Our request was not only denied, but denied quite roughly. The explanation given to us was that if six people arrived, they would need that table. We responded that, in that case, they could simply join three of the many other empty tables available in the restaurant, but they clearly did not care.
What was even more disappointing was that the woman who appeared to be the manager also showed no concern at all. There was no effort to accommodate us, no flexibility, & no consideration for the fact that we were there with children. We felt completely disregarded as customers.
From both a customer service & business point of view, this was extremely poor judgment. When a restaurant is almost empty, refusing a simple & reasonable request for comfort makes no sense. Good service is not only about serving food, but also about treating customers with courtesy, common sense, & a willingness to make them feel welcome.
Because of the way we were treated, we decided to leave. We left convinced that we will never return, never recommend this restaurant, & never order from this place again.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously & used to improve the way customers are treated in the future.

Je souhaite exprimer ma déception concernant le service que nous avons reçu chez Bol D'or à Brossard.
À notre arrivée, le restaurant était presque vide, avec seulement un couple installé à deux tables. J'étais avec ma famille, y compris mes filles. Malgré le grand nombre de tables libres, le serveur a voulu nous installer sur deux petites tables.
Comme nous mangions en famille, avec des enfants & plusieurs plats, nous avons demandé poliment à être installés près de la fenêtre, à l'endroit où il y avait trois tables, afin d'être plus à l'aise. Notre demande a non seulement été refusée, mais elle l'a été de manière assez brusque. L'explication donnée était que, si six personnes arrivaient, elles auraient besoin de cette table. Nous avons répondu que, dans ce cas, il leur suffirait de regrouper trois autres tables parmi les nombreuses qui étaient vides dans le restaurant, mais cela leur était manifestement égal.
Ce qui a été encore plus décevant, c'est que la femme qui semblait être la gérante n'a montré aucune considération non plus. Aucun effort pour nous accommoder, aucune flexibilité, & aucune attention au fait que nous étions avec des enfants. Nous nous sommes sentis complètement ignorés comme clients.
Du point de vue du service à la clientèle comme du point de vue commercial, il s'agit d'un très mauvais jugement. Lorsqu'un restaurant est presque vide, refuser une demande simple & raisonnable liée au confort du client n'a aucun sens. Un bon service ne consiste pas seulement à servir des plats, mais aussi à traiter les clients avec courtoisie, bon sens & avec la volonté de leur faire sentir qu'ils sont les bienvenus.
En raison de la façon dont nous avons été traités, nous avons décidé de partir. Nous sommes repartis convaincus que nous ne reviendrons jamais, que nous ne recommanderons jamais cet établissement & que nous ne commanderons plus jamais à cet endroit.
J'espère que ce commentaire sera pris au sérieux & qu'il servira à améliorer la façon dont les clients sont traités à l'avenir..
Not very clean, food is bland & lacks flavor, oddly their interac machine has been out of order for quite some time, it's an easy fix with atm cies, they only take cash. Overall not a very good experience. Entire place smells like fried oil...
I live in Vaudreuil-Dorion but when I can get to Brossard I love to go to the Golden Bowl. The food is delicious & the portions more than enough. My problem is that I can only order so much. I always feel like I am missing out on another dish after ordering my favorites. It's not fancy but it's good & the prices are fair. The staff were helpful in finding my order because there are so many waiting for pickup. Big thumbs up from me.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. The food quality is the worst I've encountered-it felt cheap, lacked flavor, & definitely didn't taste fresh. To make matters worse, it is significantly overpriced for what you actually get.
?On top of that, they always seem to have an excuse for being'cash only,' which is incredibly inconvenient in this day & age. It feels like a constant hurdle just to pay for subpar food. I won't be returning & wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal.

I have been eating at this restaurant for decades. The food is great, prices are good & staff is decent. I like the dact that I can see the cgefs cooking my & orger client orders. Parking us good. I highly recommend
Restaurant à prix très raisonnable pour des portions'géantes'. Je suis ressortie avec mon sac-repas du lendemain. Cuisine asiatique de bonne qualité préparée sous vos yeux (légumes mélangés recommandés). Salle à manger propre mais peu confortable. Service impeccable
