Gerts is SSMU's (Students' Society of McGill University) official student bar by night, & SSMU's official café by day. They have pretty good food & cheap drinks. #GertsTillItHurts

As someone who witnessed the mayhem around the university center in the 2010's it's amazing to see Gerts revive like this. The service is great, the prices are fair & the space is well-organized. Kudos to the team behind this transformation & keep on being stunning!!

I think it had a good variety of things, convenient that it's on campus. The vibe is nice & I like their commitment to sustainability. Unfortunately for over 3$ you can buy this tiny chocolatine that you eat in two bites. Not worth it. Would rather go to a bakery. Prices are the same as a regular cafe

A McGill staple. Friendliest staff, you’re bound to have a good time, even if it’s just the little uni bar. New food menu is amazing. Chicken & pesto sandwich is a 10/10.
