However this time i ordered «the boss » pizza for takeout. Great service & it's a nice place, but the pizza was really underwhelming. It tasted great, but it was all soggy in the middle, forming a puddle. I couldn't take it out of the box as it became a greassy mush simply by touching it. It's a shame, the taste/ingredients are great but the texture of the pizza was dissapointing.View more
Definitely a new go-to spot! The vibe is great, but the small details (the pac-man, the specific art pieces chosen, the BAR) make it even better. The staff (chefs included) were all amazing (& so fun), but the food is the best part. I got the garlic knots & a pizza, 10/10View more
Delicious pizza! One of the best ones i tried in canada. Lovely staff as well!View more
Pizza was not up to the mark. They serve better pizza in slice than full from their menu.View more
I always knew how excellent Gentile's coffee was, now you can add there pizza as well. Our food at the parlour was amazing. Excellent crust on the pizza & very flavourful. All our food was delicious & our server was very attentive & sweet.View more
I have been ordering pizza from here every 1-2 weeks for many years now & I'm experienced with their pizza menu. It's excellent.
With that said, it's sad that the Chef is no longer an Eagles fan since he took one of my favourite of his creations off the menu: the Philly cheese steak Pizza.
Maybe he's become a NY Giants fan, or even worse a Cowboys fan...who knows....
All the best,
I will still remain a loyal customer.View more

Restaurant Branch & Pizza Review If you're a pizza lover searching for your next favorite spot, look no further than this incredible restaurant! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm & inviting atmosphere, friendly staff! Also it's amazing place for brunch with friends or family! Amazing & very testy food!View more
Always a treat to have dinner at Gentile. I was craving pizza so decided to stop by for a pie. Anna was amazing as our waitress & took good care of us. In my honest opinion, one of the best pizza's in Montreal. We also tried a fantastic pasta dish with braised beef. If I am not mistaken, I recall Anna saying the pasta dish was in its last days on the menu so you might not be able to get it but if you can.... Try it! Our old fashions were great & pizza was delicious! Definitely you should try the cauliflower appetizer. Tell em' Jay sent ya!!View more
Had a great time at Gentile Pizza Parlor last saturday evening with my friend. I particularily enjoyed the cozy & feel good vibe of the place. The decor is amazing! The staff is welcoming & very professionnal. The food is tasty & of very good quality. I cannot wait to go back. I highly recommend. Special thank you to Olivia for her First Class service!View more
Ambiance, nourriture & service A1! Une excellente place pour manger décontracté après le travail. Le personnel est chaleureux & accueillant. La pizza cuite à la perfection. L'entrée d'aubergines un incontournable!View more
Very disappointed with how the quality went down lately. Used to love their pizzas but the last couple times it has been average. Not enough sauce or cheese, seems like the pizzas got smaller & the prices way higher. Needed to pay extra for the sauce when it wasn't the case before. There are better & cheaper options on the island. Will not be going back.View more
Our group of 4 all unfortunately left disappointed. Gentile missed on attention detail & quality of product. No fault of our excellent server, seems more of a kitchen issue. To start, our mains all came out at different times. Not a few minutes apart, but 20 minutes apart. My dad finished his main before we received our pizza. When the pizzas finally came out, they were cold & not exactly as we had ordered. The waiter offered to reheat them for us, which we took her up on. As expected, the reheated pizza was overcooked & no different than leftovers. I doubt we will be back for dinner.View more
The best pizza I've ever had in Montreal, & it was take out which is never as good as eat in, brings me back to Italy, loved it,View more

I came in with high expectations given the reviews & was disappointed. The atmosphere is nice. The pepperoni pizza is decent. But the 4 cheese pizza was bland. Normally in a 4 cheese pizza there's a little kick from the gorgonzola, this pizza doesn't have it. Instead, they have truffle honey, which is underwhelming. Overall I found the pizza to be rather bland. The veal meatball was OK but the tomato sauce was watery & tasteless. There was nothing exciting about the food. Total including taxes & tip was 136$ for 2 pizzas, a lasagna, eggplant parm & 1 veal meatball. I might go back for a slice of pepperoni if I'm in the area, but otherwise there are many other Italian restaurants I'll go back to before this one.View more
Don't be confused that there is a connected Italian restaurant next door. The pizza parlor is on the right. The pizza is delicious & you must try the garlic knots. I suspect they are balls of dough, breaded (really!) & deep fried. They were so good & different than other garlic knots/bread than I've had before. I'd love to go back during my vacation & just might do so!View more
While I enjoyed the (very very expensive - $32 ) pizza, the césar salad was inedible. Lettuce drowned in vinaigrette, looked more like poutine than césar salad. No Parmesan, no croutons, no anchovies (in spite of having specified WITH anchovies), no nothing. Lettuce leaves in what tasted like a bottled sauce. We sent it back & when the salad came back it was identical, albeit with a tad less - but still WAY too much gross vinaigrette. Tasted nothing like a césar. I feel we should not have been charged for this extremely under par salad as we did not touch it. As we were leaving I could hear the waiter singing the praises of their césar salad to the customers who had just sat down & that's what made me decide to write a review. D NOT order the césar salad. That said, the sister restaurant Gentile's next door has a great césar salad so it's not like they don't know how... it was just a really cheap version with no vision & no effort & lousy ingredients.
Olivia was an absolute pleasure to have as a waitress. She is always so friendly & makes Gentile pizza feel like a second home. Best service I've experienced in Montreal.View more

Fantastic atmosphere & just a really really great circle pie. I almost never stray from the pepperoni slice & I'm never disappointed. It's certainly in my top five pizza in Montreal & arguably in my top three along with pizza bouquet, pizza Toni & welldunView more
Stop what you're doing right now & get the loaded pie !!!!! Wow !!! I am so sooo impressed - I ordered Gentile on UberEats last night & it truly exceeded my expectations ! I was so excited after all my pizza research, but it was above & beyond what I hoped for. The cappocollo was the highlight & it's truly a beautiful box to open. It's as good as it looks 🤩 ! I'm pretty much doing a pizza tour before I move out of Montreal in June & I'm super serious about it... the dough & ingredients here are absolutely exceptional ! Top 2 in the city for me with the other being La Maison des Pâtes Fraîches. Thank you Gentile for making my weekend !! I hope to come in person before I leave Montreal !View more
The food was amazing 🤩 eggplant parmigiana, fried calamari, pizzas, chicken parmigiana, the salmon 🎉 But the service was even better. Olivia took care of us like we were family ❤️ She is amazing ! Thanks to Anthony as well 👍🏼View more
