The designer Jacques Gaspo from Foodtastic (behind La Belle & La Boeuf, Souvlaki Bar, Carlos & Pepe’s, Le Blossom, the new Nickels and Bacaro Pizzeria) developed Gatto Matto over a two year period. A revolutionary and Avant-Garde Art Deco concept with a flower bar theme that is a fusion between Chicago and Italy. Using premium materials designed and manufactured in Montreal, the elements marry themselves wonderfully. Bright and vibrant colors give a WOW factor that will make you feel like in a modern Milan hotel with a girly touch. The creation of the open kitchen concept never seen before in the Montreal area (in collaboration with Hagop Hagopian, director of operations at Foodtastic and expert in kitchen design) allows you to see the best chefs in the region at work. My experience was very good. The manager really know his menu, know what to recommend & was super nice. Ambiance was nice, not too much noise & the parking lot is so convenient. Will surely come back.

Mon meilleur ami des États-Unis était de passage à Montréal, & je cherchais un bon resto à Laval pour lui présenter ma copine. D'autres amis étaient aussi invités, & la soirée s'est transformée en belles retrouvailles.
Nous étions un groupe de six personnes : quelle soirée ! 🔥 L'ambiance était au rendez-vous, la nourriture était sur la coche & notre serveuse, Staycy, était A1.🙌🏾
C'est l'endroit parfait pour souligner un moment spécial avec des amis de longue date qu'on n'a pas vus depuis longtemps.

I went with friends for a birthday dinner. Overall food was great my favourite were the lamb chops I will definitely order again when we go back! Service was excellent with our waitress Megane. She waited with kindness & a smile on her face the whole evening. You can tell she knows what she is doing & that she loves her job. She even offered to take our picture for us. Ask for her you will love the experience. As for the atmosphere, the place was very beautiful decor was great & the lighting was perfect for pictures! We loved our experience! L from ACJKL✨

Visited Gatto Matto for my bestfriends surprise party for a group of 15. The service was amazing & the food was divine! I will definitely be going back. Also if there are no events at Place Bell you can park in the underground parking for free. Get your ticket validated at the restaurant.
