View more

First the good, lovely atmosphere & the foie gras was delicious. The wine was also very good (a French savignon blanc) & the dessert was excellent. I had the lemon tartlette, though it turned out to be lemon & cranberry when it arrived Unfortunately the experience was marred by some surprisingly lack luster service. First, I stood at the host stand when I entered for almost five minutes with no one there & not a single person acknowledging my presence or that of two other parties that came in after me. When a server eventually came over she pointed me to a table & then walked away. She didn't bring a menu, water, a greeting... nothing for another 5 minutes while she walked past my table four times. The restaurant was not even half full & I counted four staff on the floor. Eventually she took my order, I had the duck confit which was wildly overcooked. I have eaten a LOT of duck confit over the years & this was extremely dark in color almost black in parts, tough & chewy. I didn't even finish it. I can't speak as to why the quality of the duck was so off. Others wrote glowingly about it. As for the service, I totally understand if you're in the weeds-I used to work in service, but she didn't appear to be. She just seemed to not manage her tables well. Given the stellar reviews, perhaps I just came on an off night but it's surprising given its reputation & the price. Probably won't come back given there are so many other places to try... which is a shame. I might still recommend it but with some caveats.View more

The food is very tasty. We even came back for brunch a second time. I was disappointed with the service for such a place. The first time it was all very long, but we were seated in the hotel lobby, as there were no seats in the main hall & decided that it was related to this. The next day we were already sitting in the main hall behind the bar, but we waited 50 minutes for the dishes. If it wasn't for the service, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. & on the second day, the avocado toast was not great.View more
Great French brasserie in Old port. Brunch breakfast & dinner options & alcohol bar. Love the service & menu .View more
Excellent food & service! I only wish the main dish came out faster after the entree but it was an amazing meal! The duck confit was dreamy.View more

Merci beaucoup Ludovic!!! Service & sourire exceptionnel.View more
Nice restaurant with seating that accommodates larger groups. They have a large bar selection, the food was perfectly portioned & everything looks prepared fresh in the back. The service is a little bit slow for any additions (drinks, or extra sauce) but still overall very good & tasty. Bottomless mimosas are a great addition.View more

Had a fantastic dinner with my friends with great service. Marie, Ludo, & Loik were absolutely incredible. Since this is our first time in Montreal, they gave us great recommendations for local pubs that we can go to. Very friendly & kind. If it were not for them, our night wouldn't be as bright. Thank you to the incredible staff for a great night.View more
