I hadn't been to this restaurant in a few months, but after returning this afternoon, I noticed that the portion sizes (particularly the salmon tartare) were noticeably smaller than they were about six months ago. It looked & felt like less, which was disappointing given how much I've enjoyed this place in the past. Service was also slower than usual.

I really hope the team can bounce back, as this has always been a great spot.

Neighborhood café/bistro. I had the steak & my partner had the salmon tartare. Both were good. Nice ambience, friendly service. We had a good evening

An absolute gem! We sat outside, & I loved it. The Filet de saumon grillé nappé d'un yogourt grec aux herbes fraîches & concombres (grilled salmon fillet topped with Greek yogurt, fresh herbs, & cucumbers), served with vegetable pilaf rice (26 CAD), was a true delight. The salmon was perfectly grilled, & the yogurt-herb sauce was a refreshing twist. The Bruschettas (8 CAD) were a fantastic start, & the soup was simply delicious. Despite the generous portions, I couldn't have been happier trying everything. Each dish was gloriously amazing. To top it all off, I enjoyed a coffee with a piece of something sweet that was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. I also liked that they served us water, too. Bistro Garage Cafe offers not just food, but a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Food was good, prices are reasonable. They need to invest in A/C or heavy duty fans.
My wife was interested in a pasta with Smoked salmon, she asked if the salmon could be tossed on the grill for 30 seconds just because she like it's a little more cooked. Unfortunately that was too much to ask, the cook was unwilling so she chose another dish. It's the little things that make all the difference.
We will return, just giving small feedback.
