Three generations of my family love this place & call it our favourite. Nothing has beat it over the years. We moved farther away & yet still drive all the way to Ganges, because it's just that good! Their flavors are wonderful, & their portions are generous. Just 100% yum :) They set the bar. Anytime we try other Indian food, our comments are always "it's (good, okay...) but it's not Ganges". Raju was our waiter. He is pleasant, professional, engaged & prompt. The food was the best Indian I have ever had. Rich, robust, fresh, very flavourful, hot (temperature) & delicious. Sweet if you want with no burn, as you choose. Lamb, butter chicken, chip bread, Naan, rice, ALL excellent. No wonder they've been there for 40+ years. Simple outdated decor but a number of cool cultural artifacts as decoration. I'd go there to get that food if it was in the alley behind the place. 5 star food experience. Was one of the first Indian food experiences I had many many years ago. I have since eaten at many Indian restaurants. I recently went back as I was in the neighborhood, it is by far the best Indian food, service was good, & can't wait to go back! I wanted a spinach dish not on the menu & the whipped it up, & the lamb was so tender.Voir plus

Very good group dinner at this byow. We got multiple appetizers, 5 curries & orders of rice & naan for a group of 5. We were all stuffed after. I would recommend the spicy lamb dishes. The butter chicken was a bit too sweet for my taste but everything else was great.Voir plus
