Love this restaurant! We usually do take out here, but we came with a large group for my birthday, & everything went great. Everyone loved their food & our waiter, Raju, did an amazing job with the service. Definitely recommend if you're in the area & want some great Indian food. Thank you so much!
Been coming here with my family semi-regularly for the past while & we always have a wonderful experience. Our usual waiter, Raju, does an excellent job at answering questions & always makes us feel at home. The food is simply delicious, nothing more to be said there. Make sure to grab the garlic naan with whatever you get, it's got a lovely texture & flavour. Personal favorites: Lamb korma, chicken tikka masala, saag paner. Do yourself a favour & stop by this gem of a spot, & do not be dissuaded by the unassuming look from the outside!

I ordered the beef vindaloo & received a flavourful dish with plenty of heat. Good rice & naan as well.
My server, Raju, was attentive, welcoming, & friendly.
The dining area itself was spacious, clean, & comfortable. The the food arrived quickly & well-made.
The BYOB policy makes this restaurant more convenient than other Indian / South-Asian locations in the NDG area. Especially for those groups looking to dine & drink on a budget while not sacrificing culinary quality.
I will be back, looking forward to partaking in another vindaloo soon!

The food was the best Indian I have ever had.
Rich, robust, fresh, very flavourful, hot (temperature) & delicious. Sweet if you want with no burn, as you choose.
Lamb, butter chicken, papadum, Naan, rice, ALL excellent.
No wonder they've been there for 40+ years.
Simple outdated decor but a number of cool cultural artifacts as decoration. I'd go there to get that food if it was in the alley behind the place.
5 star food experience. Completely worth the reasonable prices.

This restaurant is a Montreal staple & has the most flavourful dishes. We tried the lamb dansak & it so tasty & was our favourite dish. Our server Raju was phenomenal. Cannot wait to come back again.
I've had it all. From Bangalore to London, this place is up there. Raju was very hospitable & knowledgeable about his menu. The atmosphere was fantastic, great for a group a friends looking for a great meal. Will be coming back
This is the best Indian food in the city & I have lived here for 30 years. I just got back from London & this tops all the spots I went too. Raju, the best server, recommended CH TK DANSAK & it blew my shit smooth off. Bring a Heineken keg & have yourself a night at Ganges.

I had the chance to dine here today & have nothing but great things to say. Raju served us & was excellent. The food is delicious & it's bring your own wine. Recommend.
Have been going here since I was a little girl! The best Indian food I've ever eaten & the people are super sweet & caring (especially the server Raju.)
Had dinner there for the first time. The food was delicious. Had the Tandoori chicken which was fantastic- as was the shrimp balacho & the bhaji eggplant! Yummy all around. Our server Raju was helpful, friendly & efficient- will be back for sure!! & it's a byob to boot!
Took a dear friend of mine, to break my fast, & they served us like if we were family. Complimentary dates & other appetizers until the food arrives. The food was plenty, God bless & an exceptional service by Raju 🫡🙏🏽. Inshallah-God willing, will be back.

Quality food & service! Everyone was extremely happy with their meal. We also shared a few things that we all loved. Great quality for the price & our waiter Raju was so kind, accommodating & attentive. The fact that it's BYOW is a nice bonus. We will be back!
We have been coming as a family to this restaurant for many years. The food is amazing quality, friendly service (by the waiter Raju) & laid back dinning atmosphere.
