Our usual waiter, Raju, does an excellent job at answering questions & always makes us feel at home. The food is simply delicious, nothing more to be said there. Make sure to grab the garlic naan with whatever you get, it's got a lovely texture & flavour. Personal favorites: Lamb korma, chicken tikka masala, saag paner. Do yourself a favour & stop by this gem of a spot, & do not be dissuaded by the unassuming look from the outside!
Raju gives excellent tips on dishes. We recommend the Lamb Dansak.
Raju was our waiter. He is pleasant, professional, engaged & prompt.
The food was the best Indian I have ever had.
Rich, robust, fresh, very flavourful, hot (temperature) & delicious. Sweet if you want with no burn, as you choose.
Lamb, butter chicken, papadum, Naan, rice, ALL excellent.
No wonder they've been there for 40+ years.
Simple outdated decor but a number of cool cultural artifacts as decoration. I'd go there to get that food if it was in the alley behind the place.
5 star food experience. Completely worth the reasonable prices.
This restaurant is a Montreal staple & has the most flavourful dishes. We tried the lamb dansak & it so tasty & was our favourite dish. Our server Raju was phenomenal. Cannot wait to come back again.
Wonderful flavourful food & great service. Raju was our amazing waiter & definitely added to the night with his attentiveness & charisma. Would recommend the Lamb Rogan Josh! Also one of the softest & fluffiest Naan I've ever had
Was one of the first Indian food experiences I had many many years ago. I have since eaten at many Indian restaurants. I recently went back as I was in the neighborhood, it is by far the best Indian food, service was good, & can't wait to go back! I wanted a spinach dish not on the menu & the whipped it up, & the lamb was so tender.
Very good group dinner at this byow. We got multiple appetizers, 5 curries & orders of rice & naan for a group of 5. We were all stuffed after. I would recommend the spicy lamb dishes. The butter chicken was a bit too sweet for my taste but everything else was great.

rip off!! Beware!
6 pieces of beef & 6 pieces of lamb with some rice & a piece of bread for 28.69$
the cups they gave me was filled with almost 70% of their watery sauce.
I really do not recommend for take out as they will rip you off.
it's sad that you guys rip off students.
:: also they will OVER spice their food in order for you to feel "fuller". it's an old technique that only cheap restaurants do.
