Step into Restaurant Gandhi and the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal give way to the fragrant spices and the aromatic flavours of the Asian subcontinent. Traditional Indian music plays as you dine, providing a gentle serenade to accompany your meal.

Unlike most indian restaurants, you will feel like you're dining al fresco: soft light, bistro-style tables with crisp white lines, and the yellow walls with their window-like cubby holes recall a sunset over the Ganges half a world away. 4 étoiles sur 5 pour la nourriture : Tout était excellent à l'exception du dessert du jour (pouding au riz & galette de noix de coco & coulis). Le dessert n'était pas aussi exotique & raffiné que le reste des autres mets. Merci !

Le service est excellent mais la nourriture est très américanisée. Il y a beaucoup trop de sucre dans plusieurs plats & pas suffisamment d'épices. Il y a un certain manque d'authenticité. Par contre, le serveur nous a recommandé un plat de boeuf qui était vraiment excellent. Pour conclure, nous avons mangé un très bon plat de boeuf & deux plats très moyens (poulet tikka massala & agneau korma) lors de notre repas chez Gandhi.

It is hard to say that this might be the best Indian restaurant in Montreal. The menu is comprised of dishes from all over India. Must tries are the Lamb Tikka Rejalla, Tandoori Chicken & their fantastic vegetable dishes. The service is also great & the staff are available to answer questions & suggest dishes. Highly recommended!
