Step into Restaurant Gandhi and the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal give way to the fragrant spices and the aromatic flavours of the Asian subcontinent. Traditional Indian music plays as you dine, providing a gentle serenade to accompany your meal.

Unlike most indian restaurants, you will feel like you're dining al fresco: soft light, bistro-style tables with crisp white lines, and the yellow walls with their window-like cubby holes recall a sunset over the Ganges half a world away. WOW. Une expérience surréaliste. Je n'aime pas les caris doux & je sais que le poulet au beurre chez Gandhi est très doux, donc j'ai commandé un poulet au beurre épicé suivi d'un riz basmati, & je peux dire avec fierté que le chef a parfaitement exécuté le plat. C'était très savoureux & pas une seule bouchée n'était fatigante. Un des meilleurs restaurants indiens. BRAVO À GANDHI, SINCÈREMENT.

The eggplant & okra dishes were missing the tomatoes & quite flavorless. Tandoori chicken was dry & very sparse...four small pieces. Been there a few times...this was most likely my last time.

most amazing indian i’ve ever had in my life 😍 right when you come in, they seat you at a window seat (or near if occupied) which i think is perfect. the service is very nice & professional. the atmosphere is very comforting. & THE FOOD!!!! just unbelievable. i come back here every time i visit montreal :)
