We celebrated my bachelorette at Fukuro last night, & it couldn't have been a better choice! From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel so welcome. They didn't just serve us, they genuinely made our group feel celebrated & special all evening.
The restaurant has such a warm, inviting atmosphere, & the decor is absolutely beautiful. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy yet modern space that's perfect for a night out.
The food was fantastic! I had the tempura, the sizzling steak plate, & finished with an incredible tiramisu that was the perfect ending to the meal. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, & beautifully presented.
You can really feel the love & passion behind this family-run restaurant. The service was truly 10/10, & the hospitality made the entire experience unforgettable. I highly recommend Fukuro to anyone looking for amazing Asian fusion cuisine & exceptional service. We can't wait to come back, & I wish this wonderful family all the success they deserve!
Le steak Tirk à $38 pour un p'tit morceau de steak & la moitié de l'assiette était rempli de grandes feuilles romaines & un tas de brindilles de menthe. La moitié de l'assiette en un tas de verdure sèche sans assaisonnement. Heureusement que les autres plats étaient bien!
I have gone a couple times now - the first time they seated us even though it was 10pm & their kitchen was about to close. We continued to have the best time with the friendly staff/vibe & the food was delicious. The bao buns were so good it made me emotional.
Went again last night & they had live jazz trio & the atmosphere was even more exquisite. There was such a good vibe among the customers & serving staff. 10/10 recommend this family owned gem!!!!!!!
We were a group of 7 & had a table near the entrance. After we all arrived, the offered to move us deeper into the restaurant where the ambiance was nicer. They said to just go & they'd move everything. It was for our friend's 40th birthday dinner. Drinks were very good.
Service was great, food was amazing. Best tempura & spring rolls I've ever had. It was my first time trying octopus & it was very good. I'd recommend this place! (We actually did to a server at another restaurant)
Wooow. What can i say. These high end, unique exotic flavours, melt in your mouth dishes were to die for. Yet the prices were very reasonable & beyond competitive- they were lower than what i believed to be high end fine dining.
We started with cocktails. Sake bombs, iroh's tea, lemon grass gin, plum wine with tonic...all simply amazing concoctions.

The papaya/mango salad was delicious. Best I've ever had.
Chicken wing piping hot, crispy, juicy & with flavourful kick.
The octopus was so tender amazing. Guaranteed you've not had it this tender.
The veal steak bite was utterly on another level in flavours. In fact the flavours our party noticed came in layers. So fascinating & delicious.
Tom Yum was best I've ever had (pineapple addition was perfect)
The fois gras sushi was melt in your mouth delicious extraordinary.
The taiwaneese noodle dish was springy & delicious. Yummy.

I HIGHLY recommend visiting not once but several times to try everything! I know my family & i will.
PS. By the time you read this, their brand new patio will be open! (But tbh they interior is impeccably curated & a feast for the eyes. - fun vibes - great job Nam! with a live jazz band this place & a evening here is something you'll not forget any time soon!)
Fukuro is a beautiful place. As soon as you step in, the welcome is always nice & gentle. It's a family business, which is very inspiring when you take the time to chat with the owner, she's just so lovely.
The service is always nice & careful, the drinks are amazing & the food is great. The best spot in the neighborhood!

Très beau restaurant. Le décors est super beau & le service attentionné & gentil.
J'ai cependant été un peu déçu des plats. Avec une note pareille j'avais de bonnes attentes. J'ai trouvé que le tartare de saumon avait un goût poissonneux & le steak servi tranché qui devait être rosé à l'intérieur était d'un drôle de brun à l'intérieur & goûtait un peu weird . Par contre le tataki de thon était très bon ainsi que les rouleaux impériaux.
