This was a well decorated & great ambience style resto. With a warm family welcome it set the tone for the evening. Tam took excellent care & walked is through restaurant history & great food selection. All was good. The mango salad was tremendous & a generous portion. The Vietnamese'steak' was a great sharing dish & drinks were a joy. Looking forward to going Friday night for some live music. Also, the decor is well thought out & fun to experience
Delicious food-- had the squid & some chicken wings, both with excellent sauce (shout out to grandma's secret sauce for the wings)! The cocktail I had (Iroh's Tea Shop) was also very good, the gin paired well with the jasmine & matcha. The fried banana was honestly the best I've ever had!! The highly for us was the service-- very friendly & charming, you could tell that this was a family business!! The decor was charming, unique & gave a lovely atmosphere. Music was at a good volume so I had no trouble speaking with my fellow diner guests.
Will absolutely be coming back to this place, & will recommend it to anyone in the area !!

We celebrated my bachelorette at Fukuro last night, & it couldn't have been a better choice! From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel so welcome. They didn't just serve us, they genuinely made our group feel celebrated & special all evening.
The restaurant has such a warm, inviting atmosphere, & the decor is absolutely beautiful. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy yet modern space that's perfect for a night out.
The food was fantastic! I had the tempura, the sizzling steak plate, & finished with an incredible tiramisu that was the perfect ending to the meal. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, & beautifully presented.
You can really feel the love & passion behind this family-run restaurant. The service was truly 10/10, & the hospitality made the entire experience unforgettable. I highly recommend Fukuro to anyone looking for amazing Asian fusion cuisine & exceptional service. We can't wait to come back, & I wish this wonderful family all the success they deserve!

Très beau restaurant. Le décors est super beau & le service attentionné & gentil.
J'ai cependant été un peu déçu des plats. Avec une note pareille j'avais de bonnes attentes. J'ai trouvé que le tartare de saumon avait un goût poissonneux & le steak servi tranché qui devait être rosé à l'intérieur était d'un drôle de brun à l'intérieur & goûtait un peu weird . Par contre le tataki de thon était très bon ainsi que les rouleaux impériaux.
Totally recommended for everyone to try this well decorated restaurant with very nice environment. The food & drinks are amazingly delicious. The staff were excellent! I would definitely return for more.

Favourite little spot so far! Was walking around plateau & saw this gorgeous spot & decided to peek at the menu. Came for the gorgeous decor & amazing cocktails menu but stayed for the hospitality & story behind the restaurant :) Food came out quick & hot, plenty of pan-asian dishes that reminded me of home, amaaaazing & thoughtful cocktail menu. Loved it so much that we came back 2 days later with more friends! Would recommend anyone to come by & have some drinks, a bite & to get to know the wonderful family that opened this restaurant! Will be back on my next trip to Montreal (hopefully soon 🤞🏻)
Having spent ten years working in the restaurant industry-specifically within high-end Asian dining-I tend to walk into new establishments with a naturally critical eye. However, my recent experience at this new family-owned Asian fusion restaurant completely blew me away.
From the moment you step through the doors, the ambiance strikes a flawless balance between upscale sophistication & genuine comfort. The decor is stunningly high-end, meticulously curated with beautiful art & traditional Asian decorations that give the space a distinct, upscale character. Yet, despite the luxurious aesthetic, the vibe remains incredibly cozy, warm, & inviting. The familial service is spectacular; you can truly feel the passion, heart, & dedication that a family-owned business brings to the table.
A special shoutout goes to the bartender as well-not only incredibly welcoming & nice, but clearly a professional who is highly skilled at their craft. The attention to detail behind the bar mirrors the excellent standards of the rest of the restaurant.
They also shared that they will soon be launching a premium sushi & omakase experience. Given the exceptional quality of this visit, I am already eager to return & try their new offerings.
Whether you are looking for a refined dining experience, top-tier service, or a fantastic drink, this place is a must-visit. I will definitely be a returning customer!
