My husband & I traveled from Ottawa & we found this cute restaurant in Chinatown. I had headache that day so we both decided to have something warm & healthy then we ordered this. Family owned business & the lady was really nice & offered us a free noodles with the soup hotpot. We will def come again for this place.View more
It's a nice place, but the food is pretty meh. I had the bbq pork ramen. The pork was kinda chewy, the broth was pretty bland, & taste of the corn was noticeable in the broth sometimes. The egg was not very seasoned & was a bit cold still when it was served. The noodles were very nice though. Not bad by any means, just nothing special. definitely a fine option if you're in the area, but probably not worth going out of your way for in my opinionView more
The restaurant is situated on a second floor with a nice view of the street down below. With the big windows, the restaurant is lit by natural light during the day. The décor is very relaxing. I ordered the BBQ pork noodle soup & prawn avocado salad. They both tasted great. The noodle soup is lightly flavoured so I didn't feel too guilty drinking all the soup. One minus is that the portion of the noodles is equivalent to small & there's no other sizing options so it may be insufficient for big eaters. Ordering two dishes was the right call for me.View more
First off, service quality & atmosphere are top notch. Second however; I had the beef ramen & I could tell that some of the ingredients were not particularly the freshest, especially the noodles (which if you're trying to market yourself as authentic you should have) although I may be completely wrong. The beef & toppings were great, would like the eggs to be a little less cooked to get that jammy texture. The broth was average, its definitely above what you'd get just all packaged, but not much more. To be quite honest I feel like the ramen should be 1-2 dollars cheaper. Come for a cute atmosphere & a comfy meal, but don't expect anything spectacular.View more
