Fu Chun Soupe Dumplings is an absolute gem. The soup dumplings were incredibly fresh, delicate, & packed with rich, flavorful broth-easily some of the best I've had. The spicy pork Shanghai noodles were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of heat & depth.
Everything tasted homemade & authentic, & you can really feel the care that goes into each dish. The service was warm, attentive, & welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
Great quality, generous portions, & very reasonable prices. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

The noodles were nice & bouncy.
The soup dumplings were meaty & the soup in them was flavorful.

Excellent excellent excellent. We were so pleased with the food & service. Super sweet staff & house made Shanghai dumplings(get the juicy pork & the peanut sauce noodles🤤 super affordable too!
Ordered the pork spicy noodles ??. Portion was small, pork overly salty & wasn't spicy at all. Costs $18 & the lady forced you to tip despite the poor food taste.

Absolutely delicious. Hidden gem with authentic Shanghai flavours. Would recommend the scallion noodles (soy) & the beef pan fried dumplings. All of it was delicious. The spring rolls are very mushroom forward so if you don't like mushrooms, I'd skip it. Great service. Friendly staff & the food arrives nice & hot!!
My friend & I ordered the noodles & they tasted amazing! Steamy, incredible flavours, & good texture. The staff is super sweet & food came really fast :)
Really cute & interestingly designed place, the interior has a lot of character & the open kitchen layout makes this establishment a bit more intimate, hearing the wok & chefs communicate while making your food was a cool addition.
The service was great & the staff are very friendly but the food speaks for itself, the dumplings & Shanghai noodles are a regular order we get, we recently tried the spicy peanut butter noodles as well & I'll be getting those again. For beverages you can order a variety of alcoholic drinks along side teas, matcha latte, sodas, & complimentary water. I highly recommend either the chicken cabbage dumplings or the beef & onion, you cannot go wrong with either choice.
If you are deciding if you should try this place - it is worth it, there are a lot of dumpling places in the surrounding area & this one falls on the middle to higher end of the ranks for the area.

Got the shanghai noodles with porc katsu & duck confit. Highly recommend the duck, very flavourful & pairs really well with shanghai noodles. Also got the crab & porc soup dumplings, an explosion of flavour. A true hidden gem downtown. Portion is good for the price!
We had an enjoyable dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere was pretty cosy & the interior decors made the place nice & casual. The service was good. The waiter was friendly & professional but they weren't really welcoming. The food was quickly served, under 10 minutes, which was great. Although the flavours were simple, they were quite enjoyable. There was a great balance of saltiness & sweetness in the noodles & the xiao long baos & the vinegar sauce added great flavours as well. The appetisers were great by themselves as well & they also paired really well with the drinks. The portions were pretty good for the prices, around 10$ for 6 pieces of soup dumplings.

What a **cute little tucked-away treasure** this place is! Cuisine de Shanghai serves up truly **authentic Shanghai-style Chinese food**, & I can confidently say I had the **best vegetarian Chinese meal of my life** here.
I started with the **lentil & mushroom steamed dumplings**, & wow - they arrived piping hot (so hot I nearly burnt my tongue, but absolutely worth it!). The dumpling skin was delicate yet firm, & the filling was deeply flavorful, earthy, & comforting.
Next up: the **Buddha Bowl** - a stunning medley of perfectly steamed veggies & noodles, artfully sprinkled with sesame seeds. The **subtle smoky flavor** running through the bowl elevated it to something special. Every bite was balanced, fresh, & full of umami.
The **service was lovely** - warm, attentive, & thoughtful. I even had the chance to meet the **chef** & personally compliment them before leaving. You can truly feel the passion in every dish.
Whether you're vegetarian or not, this place is a **must-visit for anyone who appreciates thoughtfully crafted, soulful Chinese food**.
We are from Texas & visiting the beautiful city. We looked for some quick & easy food & saw Fu Chun. Ok…to be honest…I was skeptical when we walked up. You are not supposed to'read a book by its cover' but we did. We walked in & were promptly greeted. We ordered dumplings & noodle dishes (one with Chicken). Every bite was amazing! Service was even more amazing. I highly recommend.
The food was amazing, highly recommend the noodles, the juicy pork soup dumplings were amazing too. The servers were kind & welcoming. Great ambience, perfect for sharing food with people you like!
Unassuming place on Maisonneuve street, close to Concordia metro. Thanks Fu Chun for the instagram contest & for the 50$, which enabled me to try different delicious dishes like the classic pork dumpling, fried pork & shrimp dumpling, wonton & the shanghai noodles. The dumplings & wontons were filled with alot of meat, takes 2-3 bites to eat!
Fu Chun instantly became a restaurant we will be going to again & again & again as soon as we tried the Spicy Peanut Noodles. The service was excellent, food was to die for & the prices were incredibly reasonable. They also had a wide selection of beers, saké & soju. I will be dreaming of the food at Fu Chun up until I have the chance of going back there again. Thank you Fu Chun!
Food is delicious. Dumplings, Wontons, noodles… everything we tried was great. Our waitress was so kind & friendly. We had a great time. The ambience is quiet & enjoyable :)
The place is quite small could probably adapt 20 persons. So if you come at the rush hour, be ready to wait for the seats. Make sure you get the shrimp soup dumpling, it was really good & the scallion oil noodle as well
