This cafe was exceptional - SUCH kind & helpful owners, delicious food, long coffee & juice menus, & the option for buckwheat crepes (which my gluten-sensitive stomach appreciates tremendously). They even gave us free ice cream because it was our first time there. So, so nice!!!

I wish I could rate them 5 stars, but I'm subtracting one for the AI posters on their wall. In such an artsy city, there's really no excuse to use AI decor - it was not the vibe we wanted from a cute brunch date. Even free photos downloaded off Wikimedia would have been a thousand times nicer.

If the AI'art' is replaced, it's an easy 5 stars!

We had the fruit & the nutela crepe. They were made fresh & delicious. They were also so friendly & also have homemade ice cream. We would def eat here again.

Hidden gem on St-Denis! The chocolate homemade ice cream was out of this world! Coffee was very yummy too & the brownie absolutely delicious! The owner is such a nice guy. Was my first time but definitely not the last! My favorite coffee shop in town!

Cute small café with a cozy atmosphere. The owner was very welcoming & attentive. He noticed I was a first time customer & brought me ice cream on the house!

The food is made to order & very good. I like that they have some middle eastern inspired options, it's a nice change from your conventional breakfast restaurant. & it is very affordable to boot! I'm not from the area but I will definitely take a detour & come by again!

We visited this cafe for the first time today, & what a wonderful experience! The service was outstanding - the owner took time to explain the menu to us in English, including ways to customise it. He ensured we had no dietary issues with the ingredients (including nuts). He brought us 2 extra small bowls of ice cream given it was our first time visiting.
The crepes were absolutely delicious, very generous portions & much cheaper than other crepe restaurants.
We would highly recommend this cafe, & had a memorable experience. Thank you!!

Absolutely lovely experience! The owner of the place is super welcoming & kind! The vibe is very cozy & warm. The crepe, coffee & ice cream are super well prepared, & extremely delicious. Highly recommended. Will definitely go there more often🎉

FroidÔchaud Café is full of charm, warmth, & a genuine love for what they do. From the moment we walked in, the owner made us feel like family. That kind of kindness & hospitality is rare, & it set the tone for what was an extraordinary breakfast experience. The crepes were perfectly delicate, & were made with real care & attention. The ice cream was amazing, you could tell it was homemade & it was very impressive. The fruit was fresh & bright. Both the espresso & the matcha were exceptional. Every single thing we ordered was outstanding. Not one miss. It's the kind of meal where you keep looking at each other across the table saying'this is so good.' FroidÔchaud clearly puts love into every detail. We are so grateful for this experience & can't wait to return. If you're looking for a spot that nourishes your stomach & your soul, this is it.

This is such a lovely cafe! We had a crepe homemade ice cream & lattes it was all outstanding. The vibe here is very homey, warm & cozy. The owner is so passionate about his business, the level of service was exceptional. Perfect spot for an afternoon treat!
