Excellent choix de plats - une cuisine italienne simple, comme elle devrait l'être, avec des belles généreuses. Excellent service & accueil chaleureux. J'y ai mangé plusieurs fois autant pour le diner que pour le souper, & j'y ai aussi organisé quelques événements. Le propriétaire est très accommodant ce qui rend l'organisation d'événements simple & sans stress. Un incontournable - rapport qualité-prix A1.
Great choice of food - simple, Italian cuisine just the way it should be, with nice portions. Excellent service & warm hospitality. I've eaten here for both lunch & dinner many times, & I've also organized a few events there. The owner is very easygoing, flexible which makes organizing events simple & stress-free. A must-try spot - quality & price are absolutely A1.
My first visit to Restaurant FRESCO in Saint-Léonard turned out to be an example of how a business can fail on the fundamentals.
The pasta arrived looking as though it had lost the will to live somewhere between the kitchen & the table. Carelessly plated, visually unappealing, & most critically overcooked. I had clearly requested it to be al dente. As an Italian, I don't treat that as a suggestion, it's a baseline requirement. What I received instead was reheated leftovers, which is unforgivable in a restaurant.
The service, just as bad, The waiter was dismissive & displayed a level of indifference that suggests a systemic issue.
When a business tolerates that kind of behavior, it is effectively telling customers their experience doesn't matter.
I chose not to send the dish back due to time constraints, but paying for it was a mistake I won't repeat.
I will not be returning here & I would advise others to not to go.
Poisson pas cuit pour 6 personnes de mon groupe & mon poulet parmiggiana avait des frites au lieu de pâtes en accompagnement… pour un resto italien, ça laisse à désirer.

I went there for my mother's birthday party. Through the whole organization process & throughout the night, the staff was professional, kind & courteous. They were constantly ensuring that everything was going well, the guests were taken care of, & that the evening proceeded smoothly. The food was good, the ambience was welcoming & the space allowed for the guests to easily communicate with each other in the section of the restaurant we were occupying.

I was also at Fresco on New Year's Eve with my family, & my experience was completely different. We found the atmosphere very warm & family-oriented, almost like being at a family party rather than a formal reception hall. The service was attentive, the food was good, & the portions were fair for a special holiday evening.
Given how reception halls & many restaurants were charging exaggerated prices for NYE, Fresco felt reasonable & honest in comparison. New Year's Eve is always a busy, high-pressure night for any restaurant, but from what we experienced, the staff handled it well & did their best to make guests feel welcomed.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I don't feel this review reflects the experience we had that night.
Food was good, prices were very reasonable. I was there with friends & we were well served. Our food was hot & the service was prompt. We all had a good time.
Great service by Jimmy for a party of 7. Quick refills with the water & coffee. Service was quick (offered to send in our tables order before the bigger groups). Good was excellent (steak cooked to perfection). Lamb was impressive!!! Lettuce could have been a little more generous. Calamari were great (more sauce please).
Washrooms need a little makeover / attention. They are downstairs, so not easy access for elderly or physically disabled.
Bonne bouffe mais service très très très moyen. Le serveur , qui n'a pas souri une seule fois tout au long du service, a même fait du « tips shamming » car je n'ai laissé que 15,4% de pourboire avant taxes alors qu'il, je crois, s'attendait à 18% après taxes (18% première suggestion sur le terminal. & le patron à en ajouté car son employé doit déclarer ses revenus de pourboire... a quand l'abolition du pourboire? Que le patron paie ses employés convenablement.
