The fries were perfectly crispy, the gravy was savory without being overwhelming, & the smoked meat brought a rich, satisfying flavor that tied it all together. It was comfort food at its finest. The atmosphere at night was cozy & inviting, with just the right amount of buzz to keep the energy up without feeling crowded. The beer selection was impressive, offering plenty of options to pair with the meal. I enjoyed the relaxed vibe, where you could sit back & savor your food while soaking in the historic surroundings of Old Montreal. Overall, Franklin's delivered a great experience. The combination of tasty food, a comfortable setting, & a prime location makes it a spot worth visiting, especially after dark when Old Montreal's charm is at its peak. Four stars for a memorable night out with excellent poutine.

I had an incredible experience at Franklin's in Montreal. The food was absolutely delicious-I tried poutine for the first time with smoked beef, & it was amazing. The Philly cheesesteak was also fantastic. The service was top-notch, with super friendly staff that made the experience even better. Overall, I was really happy with everything & noticed that the friendliness of employees in Montreal is truly remarkable.
