Afficher tout shawarma(35) lamb(20) quality(17) sandwich(12) salad(12) chicken(12) syrian(11) saj(11) takeout(9) recommend(8) hummus(8) packaging(8)Best shish tawook sandwich in mtl, plus their ready meal feel like my grandma prepared me dinner.
Unfortunately, the one star reviews are correct. I had great expectations as I love Middle Eastern food. The sandwich was incredibly small & for $20. I can name you five other places that will produce far superior & more more valuable sandwiches. To top it all off the location is absolutely freezing. I sat down with a friend to eat, & we both kept our coats on the entire time. I could've eaten three of those sandwiches for my lunch & for that price I should've had three.
Clean; Organized; nice packaging; friendly service but the taste for sandwiches are not sth special. For me; It was average.
Unfortunately i didn't take photos of the place or food...
I ordered 2 sandwiches 1 chicken & 1 beef shawarma.
The prices are a little bit expensive (20$/sandwich) but you pay for quality ingredients & nice syrian flavorful sandwiches.
I would go again & recommend eating there as the average cost of a sandwich in the city of montreal is 15$ & for 5$ more you have a big & really tasty one.
Simply the best take out restaurant in Montreal! The entire menu is delicious, fresh & well prepared. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful with recommendations. I really enjoy how fast their service is. They have the best chicken or lamb sandwiches, prepared fresh in just 5 minutes. They specialize in prepared Syrian dishes that you pick up & cook at home, in about 15 minutes, very easy & convenient. I strongly recommend!
Delicious Syrian food. I had an amazing swarma lamb sandwich, so flavorful. I love the beet spread, it is so unique, visually beautiful & tastes so good.
I had high expectations from this place since it's the take out division from Damas but I have to say, I'm disappointed. I ordered the lamb sandwich at the counter & while it tasted ok, it was lukewarm at the best. For the price, it's ridiculous to serve a cold sandwich. I assume they served me a sandwich left on the side for a delivery that never happened. I am willing to give it another chance but this is not a good start.
I was ashamed that I paid this much for a saj sandwich & a fry until the food arrived & it allllll made sense
Just went & bought 2 saj chicken shawarma, 1 cheese borek, hummous & a drink. I have to say that the taste was just ok for the sandwich: too many spices & it's overpowering compared to other chicken shawarma sandwiches i've had elsewhere. Would i go back no.
Highly recommended If you're looking to taste top quality gourmet sandwiches. My favorite is their Lamb Saj
The negative reviews are laughable, people expecting to pay Amir/Basha/Boustan prices for something that isn't in the same league. My lamb saj was incredible, & almost 2x the size of a boustan sandwich. Very happy to have discovered this place.
