The service is also impeccable, Louis set us up with a wonderful tasting menu & although i just met him, i have to say, i would trust this guy with my life. We really enjoyed sans soleil as well, such an awesome experience! Fleurs & cadeaux, you have my heart!View more
an ideal date spot or to catch up with friends. delicious sashimi & order the duck!View more
We are a couple that had the tasting menu. The duck breast was amazing. Cocktails were yummy & the atmosphere was fab. DJ in the basement spinning tunes from records.View more
This gem of a place blew me away. It is a MUST visit if you are in Montreal. Right when I walked in, the decor hit me with a chill retro vibe along with the music being played. The tapas style eats will teleport you to Japan. The tuna sashimi, the marinated duck, are both a must.View more
I seriously had one of the best meals of my life here a couple of days ago. Our server was an absolute delight & helped our group of 5 make our selections &, omg, the food was delicious. Do not leave this place without trying the duck! I will recommend Fleurs&Cadeaux to anyone who will listen.View more
Food was overall excellent, we ordered the albacore tataki, the duck, the agedashi tofu & the lamb ramen. The tataki was very well done, fish was very fresh & the outsides were very nicely charred. The wasabi chimichurri was a perfect accompaniment. The duck was flavourful, moist & also charred very well on the outside, but we personally found the mushroom & accompanying veg to clash with the flavour slightly. The lamb ramen was the highlight of the dinner, the lamb chashu was generous, tasty & the texture was wonderful whilst the lamb broth itself felt like a hug. The noodles were also very well done, & still had a bite to them.
Service was also friendly & accommodating. Hope to be back soon!View more
A unique dining experience! The building has a charming vintage feel, & part of the kitchen is right in the middle of the restaurant, giving it an energetic, interactive vibe. We sat at the bar & loved watching the action unfold. We ordered the chicken nanban, the temaki sushi, & the aged miso duck dish. All were delicious, but the chicken was definitely the standout for me. The bathroom layout is a bit awkward, but it's a minor detail. Overall, I'd definitely come back again!View more
This was our first trip to Montreal & this was our favorite restaurant on the trip. We had the tasting menu & the food was great all around. The sashimi with the lemony sauce & the duck breast were my favorites. We also had some gin cocktails that were really good.
The atmosphere is cool & we were able to see some of the cooking & preparation of sashimi from our place at the bar.
Overall we really enjoyed it & would definitely recommend!View more
The sashimi was a mix of hits & misses, the scallops were especially fresh & delicious, but the salmon was not fresh at all. The Agedashi Tofu was excellent, & the duck dish was also quite good. The environment is fair; a bit old & not particularly Japanese in style, but still acceptable. However, the biggest downside was the price, portions were quite small, making it feel overpriced for what we received.View more
What a surprise. The owners kept this restaurant well hidden! I would have never just walked in.
Very warm, in kind of refined atmosphere.
Great modern Asian food, duck, tuna+++
Some of the reviews must be from Americans that look for volume over refinement? I will be back.View more
Great food: duck, Sushi, Chicken, drinks, all of it. Service was top notch & friendly, even answering some of my ridiculous questions in the speakeasy such as the decibel high score on the counter. Highly recommendedView more
Fantastic food. Loved everything we ordered. Must get duck. The rice that comes with sashimi was sooooo good. Need reservation. It gets busy.View more
Kept hearing great things about this place, & the reviews were right! Super warm interior, friendly servers, prompt service, & outstanding food. We went here around 5:30pm on a weeknight for some light fare & drinks, & it wasn't too busy (made a reservation nonetheless). The duck was the best!View more
The food at Fleurs & Cadeaux was awesome :) Would definitely recommend if you are craving some good food in the Montreal, QC area.
The Magret de Carnard Au Miso Blanc (Duck Breast) was awesome. The duck was tender, savoury & delicious. Would definitely recommend if you are craving some good duck.
The F&C Chirashi Sushi was awesome. The variety of sashimi was fresh & delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked & seasoned. Would definitely recommend if are you craving a good variety of sashimi & rice.
The Takaki D'Albacore (Tuna Sashimi) was fresh & delicious.
The Poulet Nanban (Sweet & Sour Fried Chicken) was good. The fried chicken was tender, crispy & flavourful. Would definitely recommend if you are craving some good sweet & sour fried chicken.
The Tantan Udon was okay. The udon was perfectly cooked with great texture. The spicy ground pork was delicious. The sesame based sauce was okay.
The Brownie, Caramel Sale Au Miso Rouge (Brownie with Miso Salted Caramel) was good. The brownie was delicious with chocolatey goodness. The miso salted caramel was an interesting flavour that somehow worked with the brownie.
The Annin Dofu was awesome. This cream based dessert with caramelized apples (or was it pear?) & shikwasa ice cream was light, not too sweet, citrusy, & heavenly. Wish there was more of the shikwasa ice cream which provided that really good citrus flavour. Would definitely recommend the Annin Dofu dessert to wrap up the dinner :)View more
Absolutely incredible. The ambiance is fantastic. We loved sitting at the bar as it overlooks several food stations, so we got to watch some of our dishes being prepared. The food was absurdly delicious. Every dish that arrived became our new favourite. The stars of the show were the Chinese broccoli, the Tataki, & the miso duck, but honestly, everything was so delicious. Our waiter, who was also the bartender, was incredibly sweet & made the best cocktails. He even surprised us with a little candle on our dessert for our anniversary! So fantastic! We will be coming back to try the rest of the menu!View more
Really good food & service overall! The duck however was very tasty but kinda hard to chew. Overall would recommend!View more
The food is awesome. As each dishes were brought to me they also described the dish. The duck dish & tofu was excellent.View more
One of the best dinners I've had in months. Everything from the food to the vibe was incredible. We ordered the chinese broccoli, the chirashi bowl, the duck, & the udon, & all were unbelievably delicious. It was the perfect amount for two people (plus a couple drinks each). The duck was the best duck I've ever tasted - period.
Zero complaints. Go eat here.View more
Great spot with cool, chill vibes & excellent service. The food is pricey but top quality-portions aren't huge, so maybe eat beforehand. Great wine selection & options for non alcoholic drinks as well. I highly recommend the duck. It was probably the best I've ever eaten in Montreal to be honest. All the sushi was extremely fresh. Overall, a fantastic experience for date night! The Ramen looked delicious & I will definitely be going back to try it!! 4 stars only because after $175 we were still hungry …!!!View more
The duck was so good. All their food was so good. Impeccable.View more

This place is such a GEM! We have been here 2x this month & all I can say is that both times we've left so deeply inspired by the dishes! Everything we had was just so thought out & composed that each plate feels like a symphony ❤️ If you order the duck, please order the tataki as well, these two are soulmates. Each one is amazing but together?✨MAGIC✨ A special shout out to out to our server because he made us feel so welcome. He was helpful & so patient with us, truly made the visit memorable Order anything there! We've tried a majority of the dishes & not a single one of them disappointed. You know it's good when you're already planning your next visit over dessert... which was exactly what we were doing while savouring the Miso Caramel BrownieView more
absolutely loved this place! Food, ambience & staff are amazing. Don't miss the miso duck or tataki albacore or the brownie for dessert!! This could be my new regular place in Montreal!!View more
Unique dining experience with delicious food & kind employees. Don't miss the onsen tamago & légume ohitashi. Update: also, don't miss the duck & sashimi. It's all so good. Fresh fish, amazing flavors.View more
This was my third visit to Fleurs & Cadeaux, & once again, it did not disappoint. We celebrated a friend's birthday with a group of five, & everything-from the food to the service & ambiance-was perfect. We shared a variety of dishes, & everything was delicious. The standouts for us were the Chirashi sushi, Nanban fried chicken, & the white miso aged duck, which were all exceptional. A must visit !View more
This izakaya/speakeasy is easily my new fav place. Didn't have reservation so I joined the waitlist online. Arrived before I got a confirmation because we were in the area but got seated right away. 4-5 dishes order is recommended to share for 2 people. We had the chicken nanban, tuna tataki, duck, & tantan udon. The dishes are all delicious. Udon is prob my least fav as it's very heavy & I prefer it cooked a little bit more but it's something good to fill your stomach in the end as the dishes are not big portion. Overall a very great experience with friendly staff. Looking forward to coming back when we visit Montreal again.View more
August 2024: 4 stars. Music was more elevator lounge music, not great like last time. Steak dish & agadeshi tofu (very mushroom-ey) dish were good. Udon with minced pork was delicious. Rice bowl was a bit uninspired. brownie was overly buttery & salty. Great presentation for all dishes. Service was excellent as usual though. Yu mi & the sour cocktail were alright. February 2024: 5 stars. Great music, nice atmosphere. Pleasant, attentive service. Same menu as downstairs as far as I noticed, just different vibe (oldies music upstairs, newer stuff downstairs). Duck was delicious. Pickled & grilled vegetable dishes were nicely presented but small portion. Fried chicken was nice & crispy. Really enjoyed my cocktail that had Mezcal in it, as well as the sake recommendation. The dessert was disappointing though. The thin sheet cake was tasteless & had a grainy texture. The haskap cream on top was nice though.View more
One of my favorite restaurants in Montréal. Very creative menu with surprising & memorable tastes, namely the duck & the fried chicken. Got the tasting menu once & loved it! Especially love the atmosphere (casual, lowkey, chic & cool).View more
