Missed the very small sign on the front door saying no laptops on weekends, & after spending $9 on an americano & cookie, was told I couldn't have my laptop out. So I had to leave because I work weekends. At the very least, there should be more signage, but on a broader level I resent this approach to managing how the space is used/how time is limited through this rule against some media (laptop) over others (books). As businesses in the plateau, this kind of regulation is anti-social & prioritizes the bourgeois who has time off on the weekends to enjoy their paper-based leisure-time activities. FWIW the cookie was good (I threw the americano out as it got cold on my walk back home).
Délicieux & les prix sont super corrects ! On a pris BLT, sandwich aux légumes grillés, flan pistache, flan régulier, matcha lait d'avoine & flat White. Tout était super bon mais mention spéciale aux flans 😍
Such a noisy place ! Loud music, staff not making much effort with the dishes. Not smiling, not looking in the eyes when you say hello, speak like machines when they address you. Don't ask'is there smth else you would like ?'go straight to'you have to pay now'. You can feel they just needed a job & are not really into service & relationship to people. They choose music that is just wavy, adding to the bad acoustic of the place that resonates a lot. Believe me, there are a lot of better coffeeshops in the neighbourhood
Je suis allée chez Flers spécialement pour goûter les flans pistache & praliné. Comment vous dire qu'ils étaient tres bon ! En plus l'accueil est chaleureux. Je recommande :-)

& honnêtement je n'ai pas été dessus, mention spécial au flan au praliné qui était super bon.
Dommage il y avait bcp de gens en télétravail dans le café, compliqué de trouver une place
Great coffee & food, friendly staff, & laptop friendly on weekdays with many outlets. The frittata breakfast sandwich is my go-to lunch but their croissants are also top-notch, even by Montreal standards.

Encore entrain de consommer & de manger le dit flan assis sur la table haute à l'entrée loin de tout le monde, je suppose le gérant me réprimande à propos de mon iPad que j'utilisais en facetime pour parler à mes parents qui sont loin d'ici (ça faisait 15 min) car les ordinateurs sont interdit le week-end
Je ne travaillais pas, je n'utilisais pas d'ordinateur, j'étais juste entrain de prendre des nouvelles de ma famille en consommant
Osé quand 2 personnes sont entrain de travailler sur un ordinateur à monopoliser une table de 4+ (étaient là avant que j'arrive)

Décor sobre dans ce café qui sert de très bons flans, cousins du flan parisien. On sent bien les grains de vanille. Il existe d'autres parfums que nous testerons une prochaine fois.
Je suis venue ce matin pour tester les flans ! J'étais venue à l'ouverture & j'ai du attendre un moment, mais cela en valait vraiment la peine. Pendant mon attente j'ai vu que l'équipe était adorable, ils ont été très avenants (ils ont aussi une super playlist).
Je recommande le flan à la pistache & praline si vous voulez changer des flans à la vanille. La brioche au sucre était délicieuse & bien chaude. Par ailleurs, je trouve que le prix est résonable pour 4 part de flan (je m'attendais honnêtement à plus, surtout pour un café à Montréal).
