Over rated.
Got the rice plate with 3 chicken legs 48$ plus taxes?? Yes it was fresh & the rice taste was authentic but the quantity is very cheap.
Also got the dolma mix plate, was fresh the taste can get 7 or 8/10, they could be better. Finally got the kibbeh & rolls mix appetizer plate & also was fresh & good taste around 7/10
At the end, over 100$ for 3 people to have chicken legs.

The food is incredibly fresh & tasty! I had maqluba with lamb, potato kibba, & tabbouleh. They even gave us dolma & different rice to try-everything was amazing. Warm welcome & excellent service!
It was my first experience trying Iraqi food, & it was soo satisfying.
It all starts with the welcoming people, great lady, helping me to pick the right choice; she even offered a bit of all 4 flavoured rice to taste.
You can instantly notice the cleanliness of the place.
& then the food, it was a generous meal, tasty rice, & the lamb meat, sooo tender with all the spices & flavors.
Finally, they offer tea or coffee.
An absolute must to visit.
Montreal's Homestyle Iraqi Comfort Food
If you're craving real Iraqi home cooking in Montreal, Feenah Takeout is the one. Tucked away in Ahuntsic, it's the only place I've come across serving up traditional, homestyle Iraqi meals… & you can truly taste the love in every bite.
It was my first time trying Iraqi food, & I was so pleasantly surprised. Feenah (which I believe is a type of hat in Iraq) is family-run, & that warmth comes through in everything, from the flavors to the portions to the service.
The rice & meat combos are where they shine.
• The spicy beef biryani was my personal favorite , deeply flavorful & perfectly seasoned.
• I had a rice dish with potato & chicken that was pure comfort.
• & the lamb? Fall-apart tender.
Don't skip the sides:
• Olive salad - bright, briny, & bold
• Creamy hummus - smooth & satisfying
• Potato salad - rich & homey
• Iraqi style Tabouleh - fresh, herby, & zesty
If you're in the neighborhood, don't sleep on this one. Feenah is the real deal: generous portions, rich flavors, & a soulful taste of Iraqi tradition you won't find anywhere else in the city.

I had a wonderful experience at this Iraqi restaurant. I ordered chicken with potato & rice, along with kibba-everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich & authentic, & the food was cooked perfectly. The staff were warm & welcoming, & the atmosphere was cozy & inviting. To end the meal, I enjoyed a cup of traditional Iraqi coffee, which was aromatic & full of flavor-truly the perfect finish. I felt right at home. Highly recommend for anyone craving comforting & flavorful Iraqi food!
Absolutely amazing 😍❤?
I ordered food for 8 people today. Lambs shanks with rice, dolma, & grilled chicken with biryani rice. I can easily say that this is some of the best Arab food I have had in Montreal in a while. Made with love & care! The presentation is 10/10. The lentil soup is also on another level. Thank you for making our Ramadan breakfast a special experience.
The food is great i loved it! I really enjoyed eating there today. The lady at the counter was really nice & she let me try out different kinds of rice & salads before letting me choose what I wanted. I highly recommend that place for a rich culinary experience
