We stumbled across Falafel St. Jacques looking for spots on our way back to Old Montreal from the airport. It was our favorite meal so far in 3 days of this trip! Easily one of the best meals I've had recently in general.
My family eats a lot of falafel & shawarma in California, & this was one of the best I've had. For 12$ USD, we each got a pita sandwich & choice of two sides & a drink! I had the Jerusalem trio pita with tabbouleh & mushrooms - so flavorful. My dad got the same with baba ghanoush & eggplant, which were divine. Probably could have taken home leftovers, but it was all too good not to finish right away.
The staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming. We could have stayed & talked with them for hours. We even got recommendations for our next stop in Quebec City. The team said they cook for other like they cook at their homes, & you can taste the love.
Everything was so fresh & flavorful. I WISH we had a Falafel St. Jacques in our hometown - I'd go every day!
If you looking for vegan middle eastern food this is the place to go!!! Most recommended is vegan shawarma shish taouk, also they provide hummus & other dips. Also the quantity of food is great.
My favorite place in town for falafel & shawarma. Food is always fresh, tasty, & comes in large portions. Great & friendly service. Vegan & vegetarian options.
I stop here on my way home as often as possible - not just for dinner (falafel & sabich are excellent) but also to pic up their delicious salads, vegan shawarma/shish taouk, & baked goods (omg their babka…) for home. I've also done catering & it's always perfect. Everyone that works there is wonderful. Can't suggest highly enough.
Ive been going to Falafel St. Jacques over 6 years now & this review is long overdue. You can't just have one item, the vegan chicken or Shawarma, the falafel or even the hummus from sandwiches or plates first off no sample portions & not cheap! I'm highly recommending it. The staff always offering samples to taste. Everything was absolutely incredible, fresh & so tasty. They also have a dessert section that will blow your mind away! I can't wait to go back! Service was next level

Sandwicherie & traiteur tout végétarien, proposant de délicieux burgers, falafels, assiettes shawarmas & une sélection de viandes végétariennes dont poulet général tao, boeuf mongolien, poulet ananas; en plus de salades fraiches & davantage à la carte... J'aime beaucoup leur boeuf mongolien végétal & le poulet ananas végétal en assiette avec choix de salades & frites! Quelques tabourets à l'intérieur & quelques places à l'extérieur sur la petite terrasse en été. Sinon on prend pour emporter & on en profite en même temps pour faire laver sa voiture au lave-auto Elegant juste en face J'y retourne régulièrement! 👍
Great variety of vegan substitute products. Shawarma & shish taouk was a great combo plate with many delicious salads to choose from. Overall great quality, taste, service & value for the amount of food served 😋 👌
Our vegan daughter surprised us with a delightful meal, including shawarma, shishtaouk, & falafel trios that she brought home. Although my wife & I are avid meat-eaters, the deliciousness of these dishes makes us consider giving up meat without hesitation.
