The falafel sandwich is to die for. Messy but really good. I tried other stuff on their menu. Not that great & somewhat overpriced. Stick with the falafel sandwich & you will be happy.
Falafel St. Jacques was an incredible experience from start to finish on this snowy Sunday. Shanni behind the counter immediately made us feel at home & graciously shared some extraordinary samples with us as we tried to make up our minds about what to order from the delicious offerings. Through the duration of our stay, Shanni chatted with us & it felt like we were having a (mouthwatering) meal in someone's kitchen. We ordered the falafel sandwich & the Tunisian sandwich, along with a sampling of salads (babaganoush, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, quinoa, carrots, & eggplant). We also tried some Israeli juices, & took home a bunch of pastries that I cannot wait to try. We will be telling our circle about this place, & will most definitely be back. Thank you!

this was truly the best falafel sandwich I have ever had. It was party in my mouth, bursting in flavor & truly sensational. Also I was stuffed after 1 sandwich, it was overfilling with goodness! I could barely finish it.
A true hidden gem. A must have, can't miss option.

We stumbled across Falafel St. Jacques looking for spots on our way back to Old Montreal from the airport. It was our favorite meal so far in 3 days of this trip! Easily one of the best meals I've had recently in general.
My family eats a lot of falafel & shawarma in California, & this was one of the best I've had. For 12$ USD, we each got a pita sandwich & choice of two sides & a drink! I had the Jerusalem trio pita with tabbouleh & mushrooms - so flavorful. My dad got the same with baba ghanoush & eggplant, which were divine. Probably could have taken home leftovers, but it was all too good not to finish right away.
The staff were incredibly friendly & welcoming. We could have stayed & talked with them for hours. We even got recommendations for our next stop in Quebec City. The team said they cook for other like they cook at their homes, & you can taste the love.
Everything was so fresh & flavorful. I WISH we had a Falafel St. Jacques in our hometown - I'd go every day!
Awesome middle eastern falafel joint. Definitely a local joint half way btwn montreal & YUL airport. Generous portions, well constructed pita sandwiches. Great fries. Trio gets you choice of pita sandwich two salads, or delicious double fried fries, & a soft drink. Fantastic value. Amd very friendly owner & staff. Unbelievable find!!!
Tried their falafel sandwich; good portions & so fresh. They've many other vegan options like the Geneal tao made of shiitake mushrooms. Friendly staff, delicious food!

Among all the falafels I've tried in Montreal, Falafel St-Jacques is really close to being the best one! The price-to-portion ratio is absolutely perfect-you always get what you're paying for, & the quality never disappoints.
What makes this place stand out even more is the incredible service. It doesn't matter who's helping or prepping your order; they're all so kind & friendly. Most of the time, they even throw in a little treat, which is such a nice touch!
I usually go for their falafel sandwiches (which are amazing), but I've also tried the falafel plate, which comes with a salad of your choice-& you can even pick 3 different salads to mix & match! It's such a great way to customize your meal. I've also tried their mushroom-based vegan chicken & vegan beef. Honestly, the vegan options are so impressive-even the texture is spot on!
If you're in the neighborhood & looking for a healthy, satisfying meal, Falafel St-Jacques is definitely the best option.

Some of the best falafel I have had. I recommend getting something with salad because they had a lot of options, & you could choose two with the sandwich. The tabouli was very fresh, & the quinoa salad was nice. For meat the Jerusalem mix was good too, & the fries were crispy. I recommend the tahini & spicy sauce, which wasnt very spicy anyways. The staff were kind & helpful, love the guy who did some fancy spins as he wrapped up our sandwiches.
