Best bagels in Montreal!! We tried others they didn't stack up. Worth the line & the wait!Voir plus
Very authentic bagels. I only bought 6 stupidly & I wish they had shipping since I live in toronto. I want to literally take a drive back to get 5 dozens. I recommend ALL OF THE BAGELS!Voir plus
Does not toast bagels or have choice of cream cheese. Over hyped.Voir plus
Best bagels I've ever had mad the friendliest staffVoir plus
Best bagels we have ever had. Glad we checked this out instead of going thlo the better know places.Voir plus
I like the unique texture & flavor of the Montreal bagelVoir plus
Bagels are good but one of the sellers was quite impoliteVoir plus
Les bagels sont toujours bons & frais! Service rapide & efficace malgré l'achalandage.Voir plus
Great bagel place, crunchy yet soft 🥯. Looks to be popular with locals, we were the only tourists around. Everything here is for takeout. No foreign credit or debit cards, but accepts Ca debit.Voir plus
Hot bagel thrown at you as fast as you can pay. We got both Fairmount St. Viateur sesame bagel & taste tested them & I'm giving an ever so slight win to Fairmount. If you're visiting MTL go & get hot fresh bagel.Voir plus
I am not a bagel person but when I went to Montreal, I know I gotta try their bagel. I was hungry after walking & decided that day was the day I will eat a carb full meal! I decided to go to Fairmount Bagel. There a long line leading to this ordinary looking building. Also, I found out that they don't serve bagel sandwiches so I was disappointed. I almost gave up but the guy in front of me said I'm in the right place. I'm glad I listened. I asked the guy at the counter if he could slice 1 bagel for me, he said no. But he offered to give me a knife. So I decided to buy 1 bagel (sesame seeds, his suggestion) & one of their special spread & sat in a bench outside. I also found out that he gave me a small cream cheese (how thoughtful). I was in love (with the bagel) on my first bite! My mouth is watering while doing this review. The bagel was warm with a hint of sweetness & saltiness, soft inside but firm & toasty outside. I am a convert! I like bagel now. My regret is I should have brought some home. Now back in Vancouver & craving their bagel. I also tired other bagel shops but I swear Fairmount bagel is the best.Voir plus
Fairmount bagel is a great place to get a Montréal Bagel! I am no Montreal bagel expert, I must say; but I do know a good bagel when I have one! They do not offer toasted bagels, which I was surprised about; but the sesame bagel tends to be fresh out of the oven so it is warm already! They have different spreads that they sell if you want to add some pizzazz. The space is small, so you will not be able to eat in at this establishment. They are not wheelchair accessible just as an FYI. You will get your bagel, a wooden knife, & a single serve of the spread of your choice. There are some parks nearby, so we took our bagels & enjoyed some sun & nature while eating them. The bagels we got were delicious l! But if they were toasted they would have been immaculate!!Voir plus
Crunchy, soft & SUPER FRESH, right from the oven bagels!!!! So good & you can't compare it with anything else, so unique in all the aspects. A MUST GO!!!! Staff was also very friendly to be. They are opened 24 hours. I had one sesame bagel & the other one was the blueberry. Both are on the sweeter side, they are not extremely big so you can definitely try more than one flavor. The price for the quality is out of this world. It's worth the walk or the ride!!!Voir plus
It is just a bagel shop, no sandwiches. They are very busy. I honestly do understand the hype about this place or the rival.Voir plus
We visited the famous Fairmont Bagel shop today. The taste & texture of the bagels was fantastic! However, the service we received was very poor. The clerk (young & short, working at 13:27 that took our bagel order (28 bagels) was rude during the interaction. He interrupted our order to ask us verbatim "do you even have a debit card" & resorted to utilizing abrupt hand gestures during the interaction. I want to note there was no language barrier & our interaction was brief, in no way holding up a line. The product at Fairmont is phenomenal, but as someone who has worked customer service before, the bare expectation is to be civil.Voir plus
As someone who grew up on Jersey bagels, Fairmount Bagel did not disappoint. Quick takeout & easy to-the-point ordering. You get a bagel straight up & a tiny to-go pat of cream cheese. FYI, though, they'll charge 75 cents if you want any extra. Not the warmest of staff, but it is just a 24h takeout bagel counter. You can definitely taste the honey water bath essence; they are ever so slightly sweet. Crust was perfectly wood fired while the inside retained its softness. While smaller in size than a New Jersey/New York bagel, for less than $2 I can't complain.Voir plus
