Right away you feel welcomed by the hostess, the bartender & manager. We sat at the bar because we love the atmosphere. We have been served by Bruno each time . He's a wonderful bartender, engaging, helpful with menu options & suggestions, & makes a mean drink! The manager has visited us every time to make sure we are happy with the food & service. The food selection is varied.We have tried the entree's , the sides , steak & fish each with its unique presentation. The truffle potatoes were excellent. The calamari delicious. The sea bass perfect . All steaks cooked to perfection & very tasty. Bruno entertained us throughout our visits with information regarding the different alcohols & stories about his different experiences as a bartender. The early bird special price can not be beat! & you get a delicious dessert. If you choose to go after the early bird special you'll find the prices very reasonable & competitive with other steak houses . Of course not having to pay tax is a bonus! Etc. is a high end Steakhouse with great food, atmosphere & prices! We are definitely going back as often as possible..to eat & then play the slots!View more

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Playground's ETC & I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm & inviting, with a perfect balance of elegance & comfort. The dim lighting & tasteful decor set the mood for a memorable evening. The service was impeccable. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles & a level of attentiveness that made us feel like VIPs. Our Maître D'hotel was knowledgeable about the menu & offered fantastic recommendations, clearly passionate about the food & wine offerings. Now, onto the star of the show - the A5 Wagyu steak. Cooked to perfection, each bite was tender, juicy, & bursting with flavor. It was evident that the chefs use only the highest quality cuts of meat, expertly seasoned & grilled to our exact preferences. The wine list was extensive & thoughtfully curated, providing a range of options to suit every palate & perfectly pair with the dishes. The dessert menu was a delightful end to our meal, with indulgent choices that did not disappoint. Overall, ETC exceeded all my expectations. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty & that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for a steakhouse-elegant yet cozy, with just the right amount of lighting to create a comfortable & intimate atmosphere. The cleanliness of the establishment was also top-notch; everything from the tables to the restrooms (which are just outside the restaurant) was spotless, which only added to our confidence in the quality of the food. Speaking of the food, the steak was cooked to perfection-juicy, tender, & bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the chef's expertise. What do say to someone who tells you that'if you've been one steakhouse, you've been to pretty much all'? Well, without hesitation you may want to tell them about a literal treasure tucked neatly in the corner on the second floor of the brand new wing of Playground. It's called ETC. & it brings the notions of elegance, trend, class, & pure taste together as one. Yes! A steakhouse is just that....A great place for steak! ...& yes! ETC checks this box neatly, bringing various choice cuts of meats (from dry aged to Wagyu marbling, to tender traditionals) to life. However, This is where the fun part of the review begins. The part that differentiates ETC from other big name steakhouses that this city has to offer. My compliments to Chef Hisham for innovating a menu that is simple yet divine in gastronomic appeal. Signature dishes include the likes of Grilled Cheese Bruschetta, Caesar Salad unlike any you've tasted, thick cut candied bacon, seared foie gras, & a dessert menu that will tug at all your senses (ask for the tiramisu stare in amazement as it is being served). ETC brandishes dishes that range from the sublime to the insanely imaginative. However, the reason I was truly inspired to write this review was when my incredible bartender Sabrina suggested something "out of the box". Next thing you know, I order up the DEMI CHICKEN. To say I was pleasantly surprised is a complete understatement. This chicken recipe is something EVERYONE should try once. It's decadence lies in the manner its cooked, spiced to perfection with an addictive crispy char, & a succulent juicy tenderness (See Photo). Complimented by a Mediterranean garlic-lime-cilantro based yogurt that will have you licking the plate. I was so stoked at how delicious my meal was, I couldn't wait to share it with you. The kicker is this steakhouse is reasonable in price (& even more reasonable without taxes). You're not just in for a treat at ETC, you are in for an experience.View more

I've been wanting to try this place out for the last while. I contacted Talia through social media & she managed to book me a table with less than 24 hour notice! The place was fully booked. The food was delicious. The décor is classy & modern. The service was top tier, knowledgeable staff & not trying to upsell, just straight up good service. Steak was cooked to perfection, the seafood tower was extremely fresh & tasty, the sides are delicious & dessert was awesome! We will be back.View more
