Review Summary

Estrella is described as a stylish downtown Montreal spot that blends refined dining with lively comedy, where guests often note warm, attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere that makes the evening feel effortless. The show is a major draw and the ambience, terrace, and cocktails add to the overall appeal. Food is mixed in the feedback, with some dishes praised for flavor and presentation while others are critiqued for small portions or inconsistency and higher prices. Many reviews encourage enjoying the comedy and the overall experience, even if the dinner itself may not always meet every expectation, and several say they would return for the entertainment and hospitality. Overall the impression is that Estrella is becoming a go to destination for a night out that combines dining and entertainment, with strong hospitality and a memorable vibe that stands out in Montreal.

Do yourself a favour & visit this beautiful little spot. I was there last weekend & WOW! The ambiance, food, experience & staff were all phenomenal. Nick made sure I felt welcomed, needs were met & drinks were always on point. Food was absolutely chefs kiss!
I would 10/10 recommend & will be returning.

Go for the comedy, not the food. We were 2 on a Wed night. I ordered steak-frites which would have been good but suffered from DCS - distracted chef syndrome. They obviously left one side on the grill too long & charred it. If course, it was served charred side down. No comp offered. My companion ordered the karaaje chicken which lacked mango &/or papaya flavours. Service was very good. About 2/3rds of the comics were funny enough & the host was excellent. Avoid for food, go for the show.

This place changed... & for the best!!
We got greeted as soon as we walked in & offered bar or tables(since it was a little calm night).
We asked our waitress to order the food for us & it did not disappoint.
From my understanding, they're still trying to figure everything out.
Special thanks to Mike (the manager) & the chef Gibbson who came & spoke to us.
This place is going to be a staple of Montreal real soon!
Do not miss it if you pass by!
