I'd give this place 6⭐? if I could.
It was packed at lunch today. I sat at the bar as I was solo. I had a margarita & fish & steak tacos. Damn so good & tasty. Wish I could have had a couple more. I'll be back soon.
I really enjoyed the food & atmosphere. It felt like being in Puerto Vallarta
Shana was amazing ! She went above & beyond for our group. The group menu is amazing & plentiful. We had a great time & we left with full bellies & big smiles !
Nous avons dégusté l'Expérience Escondite pour le dîner hier & c'était vraiment agréable de pouvoir essayer les différents plats offerts. Les Gyoza Nachos & les tacos à l'agneau mariné ont été parmi nos coups de coeur. Eric nous a offert un super service & s'est assuré d'équilibrer les plats végé & viandes pour plaire à tout le monde.
Je dirais que ma seule critique est que certains plats manquaient un peu de goût, notamment les quesadillas qui étaient un peu fades.
Au niveau des boissons, la limonade aux fraises est définitivement à essayer. & pour finir, l'ambiance du restaurant est vraiment chaleureuse!

Les tacos sont INCROYABLES! La carte est vaste en variété, les portions sont de bonnes tailles. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.
This place is an absolute gem for authentic Mexican food! The tacos were outstanding, especially the lamb - tender, flavorful, & perfectly balanced with fresh toppings. The touch of coriander & parsley added a refreshing burst of flavor that paired amazingly with the richness of the meat, making each bite unforgettable.
The atmosphere has a vibrant, genuine Mexican vibe that immediately sets the mood for a great night out. It felt warm, lively, & welcoming - the kind of place you want to come back to often.
A big shout-out to Charlie, who made the experience even better. He was genuine, attentive, & incredibly friendly, making sure everything was just right throughout the meal. Service like his really makes a difference & adds to the overall experience.
If you're looking for excellent tacos, great vibes, & fantastic service, this spot is a must-visit. Can't wait to come back! 🌮🍹
It wasn't my favorite Mexican restaurant. The portions of their general tao & nachos were tiny. Tacos were good.
Highly recommend the birria tacos! Service was veryyyy slow but the waiter gave us a free key lime pie sooo can't complain…
Whenever we come to Montreal we make sure to stop here for lunch. Yona & his staff are so welcoming, they always make us feel right at home, & the tacos & margaritas are fantastic.

Escondite on Union has delicious tacos & a fun atmosphere. Staff are fantastic, quick service, great cocktails including a fab non-alcoholic mojito. Had the fish taco, Al Pastor & steak tacos. All great choices
Very tasty food, but believe 2 tacos plate is a little too small.
