Can't say enough good things about how amazing Kike is as our bartender. Food's great, menu's solid, but Kike's service is the star of the show & will have you coming back for more!

Service rapide & excellente nourriture ! Seul détail il peut être difficile de comprendre le menu sans aucune photo , donc informez vous bien . Le menu dégustation est un bon choix pour goûter à plusieurs plats .
Belle atmosphère au Escondite sur Union, même un mardi midi. Nous avons choisi le menu découverte (choix de la maison) & nous avons aimé tous les plats servis. Nous avons aussi goûté quelques cocktails très agréables & généreux. Le service est attentionné & courtois. Déinitivement un endroit à recommander si vous êtes au centre-ville pour une raison ou une autre.
Ce n'était pas la première visite, & ce ne sera pas la dernière non plus. Merci à toute

Food was ok but nothing really special! To me price to value was high! There was a loud music there & also so crowded! so if you are looking for a calm place it's not a good choice for you!
Expérience exquise, j'ai adoré mon expérience Escondite. C'est le meilleur virgin Ceasar que j'ai jamais bu! Les saveurs étaient magnifiques ! Les mets étaient excellents, j'ai vraiment hâte d'y retourner !
Une décision de dernière minute en passant devant l'établissement. Quelle bonne idée nous avons eue de s'y arrêter. En plus de savoureux plats mexicains avec une touche asiatique nous avons la chance d'être servis par l'excellente Shana. Allez y vous vous sentirez en vacances!
My wife & I went back for our third visit. We had Alambre & Mr. Mole tacos, chicken wings & tostadas. Delicious food 😋 & excellent service! We will definitely come back for our next trip to Montreal!

The quality has gone down
Most items are now flavorless & bland, wings no longer taste of tamarin & are barely sauced. El chapo has no sauce, it just tastes like costco chicken, mango salad has no spice. Nachos 2.0 is gone. Not sure i'll be ordering again
Wow! Amazing food & service. Went there for a birthday celebration with a group of friends, we shared many plates including tacos & other things. Prices are surprisingly good considering the quality. I would definitely recommend. Great selection of cocktail & mocktail as well!
We had a wonderful experience at Escondite! Our server whose name is escaping me (I'm sorry! Tall, female, long brown hair, glasses) was so friendly & attentive. There was a nut allergy at our table & she went above & beyond to ensure our meals arrived sans nuts, even double checking with the kitchen to ensure. The food & drinks were delicious. Everything was extremely fresh & the flavor profiles were on point. We also greatly appreciated the atmosphere (especially the volume in the restaurant) so we could enjoy the meal & each other's company in its entirety. Unfortunately, the phone did not eat first!! But we'd definitely return.

Escondite was amazing! 10/10 would definitely recommend! I am from NYC & we have some great restaurants & this place was better than a lot of places back home. Services was amazing atmosphere & vibe was like a restaurant in soho. The dish that stood out to me the most was the tuna tostada. The flavors were extremely well balanced, unlike any other tuna dish I've ever had. I probably could have had 3 of those & been happy. We tried almost every single taco on the menu & nothing was bad, The nachos were also amazing. My favorite was the Birria & the Pollo Hermonos. Cocktails extremely well balanced! The waitress told us we picked all the best tacos ha! Will definitely be visiting this establishment again next time I am in town!! Thank you so much
To start with, the drinks were phenomenal - Darlene is a master bartender & our specialty margaritas were so well balanced & tasty - truly some of the best margaritas we've ever had. Then we decided to be adventurous & try the tasting menu as the price was unbeatable. Every single course was delicious & we were so full but the food kept on coming. Really the perfect meal! We will be back next time we are in Montreal!
Had a fantastic experience overall. Not only was the food hot & tasty, the service was quick & the servers were so friendly. Must recommend place if you're looking for some Tacos & Churros.
